Microsoft have been shafting their testers quiet a bit of late Oh, boo-hoo. Are you an equipment manufacturer that pre-loads a Microsoft operating system? MS would be least worried for RC leaking ahead of the public release because there isn't much time in it. There is also nothing secretive or super buggy in that build to be concerned if it leaks a week early. Testers don't pay for testing these things. We already know for sure that those builds exist and they are in the hands of OEM's and TAP Gold. We also know that the signoff for 7100 will happen in few days. MSFT might like to see a leak at this time. It would let them get some unofficial feedback and telemetry before they commit to a public RC without be 'responsible' for it. That's because windows 7 betas are so stable already for a lot of people that it doesn't really need to be more stable for a lot of us and we rather have the latest code base.
