Don't count on it too much. I RAIDED my two SATA drives and the actual score remained the same. However, the speed doubled. WEI is broken atm. ;)

Yeah I know that it is kind of broken atm, however I'm curious as to what RAID type you used?

The i7 doesn't have eight cores. It has four cores with hyperthreading, which equals eight logical processors.

In other word you have 1 physical processor, 4 cores, 8 logical processors. These are all separate concepts and not interchangeable.

I know that, however EVERYTHING else in Windows shows the i7 with 8 cores...!

8 cores isn't the correct value. The i7 series have support for Hyperthreading, they still only have 4 physical cores.

Current score. Got 8GB of memory coming soon, will post the new score up when I get it installed

I get 5.9 overall

RAM was 7.0 when I had 4GB in (2x2GB). When I added the other 2x1GB sticks it dropped .5

CPU is actually clocked at 3.2GHz.

Mine is running at stock Q6600, I get higher like 7.2 something if i goto 3.2Ghz.

Going from 4GB to 8GB does not matter, If you changed from 800Mhz to 1200Mhz memory then it would make a difference, it rates speed not the amount of memory.
