If I do, when will my first bill be generated and when will it have to be paid by? I read somewhere that its roughly 17 days from when its dispatched to when the payment is taken, is this correct? They billed a month after its shipped, but pro-rata'd the bit between shipping and activation. BGM Posted June 23, 2009 Share Posted June 23, 2009 absolutely no idea.. but why would it matter.. if there are cash flow issues you can change your billing date to the day immediately after you get paid or something without any hassle however, if there are cash flow issues i would question the wisdom of getting an iPhone what is the reason, if i have assumed wrong? Is that simple to do? I've found in the past most companies are unwilling to do that as the amount is requested every 30 days or so? kinetix63 Veteran Posted June 23, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 23, 2009 When I bought the original iPhone, because you had to set your account up online you got charged the first month immediately. After that, I upgraded to the iPhone 3G so it just followed my usual billing pattern. Now, your account is set up in store and you just activate via iTunes instead of having all the credit check and everything done by it, so billing cycles can vary.
