1-0 down already. I fear for us tonight against the big spenders. Sure hope the powers that be at West Ham sort out our finances too. We are struggling real bad!

^ you're just 6 games in. If you win your next game you can jump from 18 to something like 13/14 :)

True but you can just see that we dont have the spirit at the moment or the morale to contend in the games, the only bright thing so far is the youngsters but we could sell them to raise cash

So I was on soccernet.com this morning and they had a poll for the best striker in the Premiership and guess who won? lol Wayne Rooney over Drogba and Torres. I couldn't believe it, too many dumb American fans

And you feel the need to show us how much you are cleverer than them... Too bad you missed. Next.

A late goal again, for a single and small point. I take it with pleasure cause we were damn poor tonight. Wonderful goal by Berbatov by the way, the only light in the entire game.

Sorry, but anyone that thinks that Shrek is in any way a better player than Torres is stupid.

And, I am beginning to wonder how much united are paying the referees this season to keep getting favourable decisions and games that run into stupid amounts of injury time.

Typical, handbags at three paces.

In the mean time pompey got 3 points!

Also talk of the club being taken over or new investors, the people being the Faraj brothers.

There are few rumours.

The club has taken out a 5 mill loan to pay wages, this loan is from the Faraj brothers and the club has been put up as security. This rumour could mean that if pompey were to default then the club would have to be sold/passed on to the Faraj brothers (Thats what I think anyway) .

The other is that the Faraj brothers are investing in return for 80% of the club.

Interesting!

Not only that, rumours of Harry coming back to pompey. Rumours of Spurs making some sort of announcement on monday. Another is Harry and the bung business.

Sorry Frank, but I disagree.. Shrek is better than Torres.. maybe not at scoring or dribbling but that doesn't matter though coz what he lacks in skill he makes up in diving.. I mean.. why do things the hard way when you can just fall down and look at the ref and get a spot kick.. Eduardo dived once and got banned and look at the Rooney "the honest player" Shrek.. he doesn't get caught coz he's so d**n good at it.. but that all comes down to the teacher and he learnt from the best at it.. the one who left..

We were awful yesterday, one of the most frustrating United performances I've seen in a long while. Sunderland weren't great themselves but full credit to them for sticking at it. The only player which I felt didnt put a foot wrong was Evra. Rooney was horrendous, so was Berba, Nani can't cut it, and Welbeck just wasn't in his correct position. We completely lacked ideas and I think up until the 80th United had had 4 shots on goal - at home, to Sunderland. We really missed Giggsy.

Yeah, it's a conspiracy...

And about Torres being better than Rooney, two letters: A H, for AHAHAhahahahahAHAH.

Torres... 46 goals, in 64 games, strike rate 0.72

Rooney... 71 goals in 165 games, strike rate 0.43

Stats don't agree with you on this one
