I've been trying to install Ubiquity on my Firefox but whenever it "successfully installed", firefox restarts and I do not see it under my Addons. :( I thought it might be conflicting with URL Alias since it uses the address bar. But I've disabled that but still won't work. Ah! For instance it told you were on your true banking site. It has been out of use since FF2.0 and would like to find a repalcement. You'll have to head over http://labs.mozilla.com/projects/ubiquity/ and get the latest version, which is .5. If you still can't get it to work, there should be some help on there website regarding installation. I found one that stated Kaspersky conflicts with the installation. Also, I don't use it with my URL bar. Instead I use the shortcut CTRL + Space and bring up the window to perform actions. Its quite awesome.
