-KJ
In my recent upgrade to x64 I've been missing a few functionalities -- primarily, viewing .PSD thumbnails in Explorer. I recommend those with x86 to install psicon.dll to view PSD thumbnails in Explorer (guide here). After some searching, I stumbled across a relatively new thumbnail extension for PSD (along with DDS, TGA, and SGI) that supports x64! You can find the extension here: http://mysticcoder.net/mysticthumbs/ Download the x64 Installer on that site and reboot if thumbnails do not appear immediately. I installed it and am glad to say that it works. So that's one functionality that has returned to me in my transition to x64. :D -- I understand that this isn't really a guide, per se. More of a pointer/tip to get this functionality back into Explorer as all one needs to do is run the installer. Feel free to move this thread to a more fitting section. Jamushroom Veteran Posted July 16, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) With x32 you obviously mean x86 :p People who are using a 32bit Windows can install the x86 version :) I used to use psicon.dll but I'm gonna give this one a try. If only these kinds of extensions could show a preview in the filmstrip as well.
