BetaAddict
District 9. It's was absolute garbage. Are you kidding me? Just watched it last night and it's a masterpiece. Sure, their marketing campaign leaves much to be desired, but they deliver above all expectations. The scene capture is very realistic and life-like, making CGI hard to detect in most scenes. Let's not forget Peter Jackson (producer) and the director had to put in their own money to make this $30 million movie. Makes you wonder what's wrong with those studio execs when they decide it is okay to fund $150 million for an explosions extravaganza in Transformers 2 and they don't fund even better movies like District 9. District 9 goes down as one of the best sci-fi/thriller movies I've seen and they did a good job of closing the movie with the option of District 10 as sequel, which I hope they make.
