1991: the Cold War is ending. Just days before the US President is to visit China for trade talks, a CIA operative named Bishop is captured in a rogue operation at a Chinese prison. He'll be shot in 24 hours unless the President steps in. CIA honchos hunker down at Langley, controlling the damage to the diplomatic mission by hanging Bishop out to dry. Enter Nathan Muir, one day before retirement from the Agency, the man who recruited and trained Bishop. Can he find a way to get the President to free Bishop; if that fails, can he engineer a rescue? He hangs around Langley, telling stories about Bishop, as he gathers intelligence, looks for opportunities, and runs his own spy game.

Just got back from seeing Up In The Air, the new film with George Clooney, it was enjoyable and a bit predictable at times but I thought overall it was a good film with a pretty decent performance from the cast.

Not really a movie...

Tyson - 3.5/5 or maybe 4/5.

From director James Toback comes this documentary feature about the trials and triumphs in the life of famed boxer Mike Tyson. From his salad days with promoter Don King, to his infamous ear-ripping match against Evander Holyfield, to his sexual assault conviction, this film, made with the cooperation of Tyson himself, was culled from more than 30 hours of fascinating interview footage of the notorious heavyweight champion.

Rachel Getting Married - 1/5 - Couldn't even watch the whole movie; Turned it off after 45 minutes of snore.

I was like the same, watched 20 odd minutes and felt bored

Men Who Stare at Goats

Sadly kinda meh. Sure, it had some great moments of randomness and hilarity and the cast was amazing, it felt kinda lacking. Rather ironic the most hilarious part, the whole idea, was also the most real. Oh well.

Also - kinda weird seeing Stephen Lang in a role like this with Avatar in recent memory :p
