The subject being looked at is a bit more mature than the typical "I'll come back from the dead repeatedly to inflict my pain on the world." This is not a late teenage melodrama (Halloween or These Hills have Eyes), nor is the acting wooden... it is very fluid. The scenes go well beyond movies like Hostel (more repulsive) and thrillers, like Saw. All of the scenes involve sexuality that would best be left unmentioned. The part about me being uncomfortable was in the treatment of women, though this is not at all common for horror flicks, but suffice to say that it is taken to the next level of cruelty and perversity. You can read some of the links below, which do have some spoilers in them, but it might be a good idea anyway. Finally, while it is a bit difficult to watch I would not place it as the scariest movie I have ever seen. I think this is being blown over to hype the movie. If after reading the articles below, you still want to watch it there are a number of sites of the internet that have it... You***.com might be one of them (or maybe not anymore).
