Many people have slated this on IMDB, but when you can ever trust IMDB ratings especially for comedy? (that place hates will ferrell). I thought it was laugh out loud, awesome stuff and the story also many argue it somewhat lacks, it fits together perfectly :). If you like any Adam Sandler movie, you'll love this. 8/10 The Expendibles Now this movie is a definitive man movie, kicking the crap out of everything and blowing stuff up. This movie is an all out action packed fast paced movie with a cast that is rivalled by arguably none. Singh400 Posted September 11, 2010 Share Posted September 11, 2010 Iron Man 2 (HD) ? I went into #1 not really expecting to love, I came out loving it. And thought it was awesome. I went into #2 expecting to really enjoy it, but I came out a little disappointed. Don?t get me wrong, the action was good, the CGI was good, even the acting was good. But the film as a whole didn?t gel for me. I guess I forgot the ultimate rule ?sequels mostly disappoint? and this was true of this film. I found myself getting really annoyed with Scarlett?s character. She was a fantastic piece of eye candy. But she was completely wasted in that film, and the only reason she was there was something to stare at. She didn?t add anything to the film at all for me. On the whole sorely disappointed :( 6.5/10 Body of Lies (HD) ? No idea what this film was about, a friend at work leant (sp?) it me. Went in expecting nothing, what I got was a highly intelligent film with some first class acting from DiCaprio, Crowe and Strong. A really engaging film, highly recommended. The last few years I have really come to respect DiCaproio as an actor. Before I didn?t take much notice of him, but since I saw him Blood Diamond. I think they might make part 2 the way this ended... The Expendables - 9/10 : great action movie.. Hot Posted September 12, 2010 Share Posted September 12, 2010 Took some time off recently and watched a bunch of blockbusters. :D The Karate Kid - Really enjoyed this one but I think it's because I'm a sucker for "finding a home away from home" movies. Could have had a little more plot overall. 8/10. Robin Hood - My favorite of the bunch. Only complaint is the terrible English accents of the almost entirely non-British cast. 8.5/10. The A-Team - This one was a little on the cheesy side. And the guy who played Bosco really did no justice to Mr. T. But the flying a tank scene was very entertaining and alone worth half a point. 7/10. Iron Man 2 - Very polished but no where as good a story as the first. They went totally overboard with Tony Stark's "the world is my playground" lifestyle in my opinion. Some scenes just made me roll my eyes. 7.5/10. The Expandables - Thoroughly enjoyed it.
