Soulsiphon
Lord help me but I loves my 70's-80's flicks. Next I'm thinking Marathon Man. But alas, this was the last one thru the old Netflix queue... Foxes - Jodie Foster and Cherie Currie

DirtyLarry Veteran Posted May 31, 2011 Veteran Share Posted May 31, 2011 Literally had an insanely lazy holiday weekend with my wife, I had 4 days off she had 3, and we watched movies pretty much the entire time. Literally. Here is what we watched... Cedar Rapids 4.5 - 5 Way better then expected. Route Irish 2.5 - 5 Really expected more. The Way Back 3 - 5 Cool true story, just not the best pacing and acting. The Machinist 5 - 5 Already had seen it, just love it, so we watched it again. The Hangover 2 (went to theater) 2.5 - 5 Everyone I was with enjoyed it more then I did, it was funny, I did laugh, but it really was the same exact damn movie. The Outsiders 4 - 5 Just one of my all time favorite movies from when I am a kid. Even though watching it now I see how bad some of the acting truly is, it still has a truly fond place in my heart. Just one of my favorites of all times. Planet Of The Apes (1968) 5 - 5 Without a doubt one of my all time favorites, I purchased the 40th edition Blu Ray on release day, but never watched it. So this was me finally watching the Blu Ray, even watched most of the behind the scenes, etc. Taking Chance 6 - 5 Yep, I rated it a 6 out of 5, it was that good. True story about a marine escorting a fellow marine killed in action back home. Just a great movie, and purposely watched it on Memorial day. It may have been easier to list what we did not watch. Honestly though, really, really recommend Taking Chance. Just a damn touching movie. Literally had several occasions were the tears could not help but flow. Great movie.

Roger H. Veteran Posted May 31, 2011 Veteran Share Posted May 31, 2011 Fast Five - that gets a 9/10 from me. I agree, it needs more racing damnit but yeah it was pretty good. Didn't have enough hot girls also! Hall Pass - pretty cool and had a nice lil story with it too. Gets a 7/10 from me Hangover 2 - definitely funniest movie I saw so far this year! I didn't see part one (got it now for tonight!! :woot:) Gets a 8.5/10 from me!

Dick Montage
DVD: Predictable nonsense, but fun to watch as I was broed. Cinema: First film made me laugh so hard I cried. This is the exact same film, but set in Bangkok (and I hate how the media portrays that adorable city).
