What was the last movie you watched?

Captain America - 2/5 This was just rather lame. Bit of humor, but I couldn't enjoy this.

The Crow - 4/5

American Me - 3/5 This was alright, but I feel like there was too much distance between the characters. I can't be shocked about what happens if I don't care about the characters... :\

2012: Ice Age

1/10

Watched the first 20 minutes then deleted it from my computer. Complete waste of torrent bandwidt, the films budget must of been like 100 bucks.

Of my goodness, this is - and I know everyone says this - the worst film I've ever seen. Acting, plot, effects (so bad you'll keep replaying one exploding glacier scene-does frozen water burn?!- time and again.) Acting is terrible, and it looks like the set was reused so ofter even I had to rewind and check my avi wasn't skipping. Plot: The Day After Tomorrow: highschool remake. Effects, oh my! Remember games with 16bit sprites? Miss them? Well, they're back!

This is laughably, career-silencingly bad. Awful. I can't believe its actually a film. My brain is almost confused as to how the editing team/person managed to cut this pile of crud without spilling his coffee over the machine and going to hang himself.

Just watched a couple of classics from Hitchcock, and from these two movies, I think the guy is a genius.

Heard a lot about him.

Rear Window (1954) 9.25 out of 10

Psycho (1960) 9.5 out of 10

Scarface

I just picked up the Blu Ray, just had to find the time to watch it. The clean up of the film looks great. Of course after watching it I see that they want to remake it. First thing I though was, oh lord not again.

paul-movie-poster.jpg

Watched it Friday night. I'm a fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's works; namely Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz (although I've never watched "Spaced" before), so I was more than happy to give "Paul" a go, and it definitely did not disappoint. :) A great laugh all the way through (especially with Seth Rogen voicing Paul), and I loved the

back-and-forth arguments on religion between Ruth and Paul, leading up to the point when he gets fed up of arguing and just puts all the truth in her mind (which eventually lead to her swearing her way through the rest of the movie).

:p

8.5/10
