Thought the same thing "I'll give it a chance again", "Just relax", "See the positives" etc..... Still a load of pants. Best thing was when about half way through my son said that Jar Jar was an "annoying idiot". I was so proud. Watched Captain America: The First Avenger on the weekend. 7.5/10. MightyJordan Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Decided to watch it after seeing it mentioned a couple of times on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe. Wasn't really too fond of it, to be honest. The standout moment for me was the last couple of scenes, where the network executives actually talk about assassinating Howard Beale, and then you see it happen on his show in gruesome detail. It shocked me at first, but then when the very last scene rolls (where there's several TV screens featuring a combination of news reports of Beale's assassination and commercials) , you realise it isn't really that shocking at all, because people like that would actually be willing to go that low. 6/10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I read the book and the book is excellent, shame the movie didn't follow so closely to the book, if it had it would have been 4 more hours longer. And I was not disappointed, still found it hilarious! patrick warburton is a win in any movie lol. Just watched Tower Heist.... While it wasn't bad, the ending didn't resolved everything. You don't know what really happened to Eddie Murphy's characater, or what really happened to everyone else. You see a few people get what they deserve, but everything else is just sort of left up in the air. So while a decent movie all the way through, once it ends, you feel robbed...
