So, after a little break, I went from Observe and Report to...

...and holy ****, it was amazing! :woot: Chock full of blood, violence, a healthy dose of swearing (a lot of it coming from Hit Girl :p ), and it still managed to be funny in the right moments.

love that film :D

If I had to describe it in one word, it would be "slow". The scenes dragged on for so long. It had its good moments (most of you know what they are), but it was just too long. If it was full of action all the way through, then it wouldn't matter, but sadly, it wasn't.

I'd have to say this is probably my least favourite Tarantino-directed film so far. Inglorious Basterds is still my favourite, then the Kill Bill films go in between that and Pulp Fiction (the first one above the second one, obviously).

The dialogues are the highlight of the movie not the action, if you can enjoy them then it's a great experience :) I love every minute of this movie and never saw it as being slow.

But each one to their own of course :)

Watched a few films yesterday as I was bored and alone in my Uni house.

1) 2012.

Seems like just another 'end of the world' movie to me, doesn't bring much new to the table and failed to keep my attention properly throughout.

2/5

2) Buried.

Started off well, it managed to keep me entertained for the entireity of the movie even though it was entirely in a coffin. However, I felt the ending let it down somewhat, it just didn't sit with me very well that

he just died

.

3.5/5

3) The Social Network.

Good film, very interesting to watch and despite what I had heard from a few friends, I enjoyed it.

4/5

True Grit. It was amazing. Tho it would have been even more amazing had I understood half of what Jeff Bridges said :s But non the less - it was sincere, brave, funny, and all together just great adventure. Jeff Bridgess is legend!

Watched my way through some films the other day

Kick Ass (again) 4/5 still a good film

The fourth kind 4/5 - good if you can ignore the hype, disbelief in the subject matter, or the fact its not real

Predators 3/5 - I expected it to be a remake, but it tries hard to be a sequel and does rather well at it too

The A-Team 1/5 - What utter trash, not even a good action film

The Expendables 4/5 - I rather quite enjoyed this film, and it was fun seeing all those action stars (some of whom I've seen in films for years) all in one film together

Chaos 4/5 - Totally out of nowhere, never heard of the film but it was actually quite an enjoyable ride despite the slightly predicatable story

Just came back from watching Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader at the cinema, and I have to say that it was a very good film, I cannot remember the books as I read them ages ago so not sure how true they stay to the story/what bits they leave out. But it kept me entertained and the kid, Eustass (sp?), was very funny at times.

4/5

Dinner For Scmucks - stupid and unfunny

I totally disagree!

Me too!

I have to agree with Kriz and inferniac, although the film did have me cringing with its stupidity at times, I found it funny overall!
