Immortals 3D

8/10 - for an action movie.

I really enjoyed this at the theater. The 3D was done nicely, especially on the fights with exploding heads :)

I'm a sucker for Greek mythology, and this, while only really containing a bit of it, was leagues better than that horrible Clash of Titans.

I hope they end up making a good Homer's Odyssey one day.

 :s

Yeah, I just for some reason watched The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). Link here.

I thought the first one was more or less funny TBH. Yeah it was twisted, but it was so far out there, and the Dr in it was so poorly acted, it was really more amusing than anything else.

This 2nd one is not funny at all like the first one. The whole premise of it being a movie about the movie is pretty funny actually, but that is about it. This film is for real disturbing.

The main character of Martin truly is one of the creepiest individuals ever caught on film.

The whole fact that he is more or less silent is bizarre, and truly what makes him even more disturbing then if he talked. I think I hated this movie actually, and I do know for certain I could have done without watching it, but something about it is really twisted and sick, so for those that like those types of films, I would say check it out.

Also, I watched the Devils Double with my wife this past weekend. Really awesome movie.

I'm surprised you were able to make it through that. The first one for me as well was a joke of a movie, but still sort of sick. The 2nd I just couldn't take. It was messed up. It just creeped me the hell out.

Watched it on Halloween this year. As mentioned the fact it referred to the first as a film was a strange touch and certainly the violence was just there for no other reason that to shock. This film was brutal. As a film I didn't mind it and have certainly seen other films that turned my stomach more, this was just a film that obviously will sell on the hype more than the quality of the film itself.

As for the last film I have watched, it would be Avatar 3D been testing out the new TV so far have bought a few 3D blu-rays and others I have acquired from various sources.

Avatar didn't seem to have that wow factor that it had in the cinema, still great but I'm not so sure on it now.

Tangled 3D is simply amazing, Disney really do know how to make films look great. Definitely a film that if you have a 3D TV then you must see it. Effects and the story itself are great and certainly a 9/10

I definitely almost turned it off. More than once. As you said, just creeped me out as well.

Nice, I have Tangled 3D waiting to be watched actually, your post actually reminded me my friend let us borrow it. So definitely going to check it out now. (Y)

And yeah, they were really just trying to cash in on the name of the first film, but they somehow made a way more disturbing movie. It genuinely was disgusting. :|

5/10

Could've done with less aliens (well none tbh), and more cowboys :)

I forgot I watched this yesterday, probably because I fell asleep for about 45 minutes of it. I would give it a 5/10 as well, possibly even a 3/10 for those 45 minutes I fell asleep.

Today I watched Warrior with my wife...

9 (maybe even a 9.5) /10

Truly was a pleasant surprise how good the movie actually is. I had read it was good but I was naturally skeptical. Now I can say the buzz it has generated is without a doubt totally deserved.

Just one of those classic sports movies in which the underdog prevails. Just like those classics, it tugs at your heart strings properly. My wife literally cried at multiple scenes and I definitely got misty eyed myself. Really is just one of those feel good movies however it is not cheesy at all, not even in the slightest, and in fact although it can be classified as a feel good movie, it is not all that feel good when everything is said and done. It was just incredibly well done.

I would say it may go down with the likes of Rocky, Rudy & Hoosiers. It definitely has a real solid shot at doing so.

Watched the Green Lantern I'd give it a 8/10 - it was ok but never been a huge fan of Green Lantern in the past, but felt the film was good. My friend who like Green Lantern comics hated it :D

Also watched Robotropolis - 2/10 AVOID this movie LOL :D it was terrible but it was so terrible it didn't deserve a 1 but not terrible enough to start scoring higher

Watched 50/50 last night, really good film. Certainly one of my favorites of the year if I'm honest. My only problem is I'm always waiting for Seth Rogan to break out a joke, which doesn't lend itself too well in serious situations. 9/10

50/50 - 7/10 - Once you stop waiting for Seth Rogan to crack a joke in every scene then it really is a good film. And the therapist lady is hot too! ;)

Warrior - 9/10 - What a film, wasn't too sure about it in the first 20-30 mins, but wow... One of the best films this year for me.
