The Walking Dead (Season 2)

Rick clearly hadn't seen enough zombie movies.

He broke probably all the rules on how to survive a zombie apocalypse not to mention hes a bit of a retard.

First he gets shot because the idiot turns his back to the criminals they just shot without checking if the scene is clear. (someone didn't pay attention in cop school) :pinch:

Then he wakes up in the hospital and thinks about searching for matches but then he burns hims self 5 times because he wants to use them to make light, eh its a hospital theres bound to be a couple of flash light laying a round. Or better yet make a torch! then he comes outside and theres a whole bunch of vehicles just sitting there unattended but he thinks hey lets walk a couple of miles with my bullet wound.

Then he gets smacked in the face with a shovel by an 9 year old. :o

Then he finally does the smart thing and goes to the office to get some supplies.

Finds a house and the first thing he does is ditching all his stuff on the porch, its not like there could be anyone there ready to eat him :pinch:

Finds a horse which basically means unlimited transportation given you take good care of it. Hey he uses his brains!! :D

Then he decides to go to the big city surely there won't be any zombies there its not like a couple of millions folks used to live there.

Rides his horse right into a couple of thousand zombies to get mauled

Then he tries to hide under the tank :pinch: Surely those zombies can get under there if he can

Manages to get in the tank, shoots a gun in there (ok i would have done the same thing but still...)

Then gets owned by a 16 year old on the radio.

I wasn't going to give it any attention but stumbled across the encore playing so I watched it. Definitely looking forward to more episodes!

The Walking Dead' Has Highest-Rated Cable Premiere Of 2010

It's official: "The Walking Dead" is a hit.

Judging by the buzz today, last night's premiere of "The Walking Dead" on AMC went over well with just about everyone who tuned in for the live-action adaptation of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series. And now the numbers seem to support that success, too.

According to various reports, "The Walking Dead" premiere was viewed by 5.3 million people last night — the largest audience ever for an AMC original series. The pilot episode also managed to pull in 3.6 million adults in the 18-49 age demographic, and became the highest-rated cable series to premiere in 2010.

It's worth noting that the episode was run again at 11:30 PM after its initial premiere, making the final tally 8.1 million viewers on the night.

"It’s a good day to be dead. We are so proud of this series, its depth of storytelling and the remarkable talent attached,” said AMC president Charlie Collier in an official statement. "As the network dedicated to bringing viewers the best stories on television, we are so pleased to have the opportunity with The Walking Dead to raise the bar within this popular genre and continue our commitment to being the home of premium television on basic cable."

"The Walking Dead is that rare piece of programming that works on so many levels," said AMC SVP of original programming, production and digital content Joel Stillerman. "It is legitimately great storytelling that is not only highly entertaining, but incredibly thought provoking as well. People who are familiar with the comic books know what's coming, but suffice it to say, this is only the beginning of a long, intense, and powerful ride. Long live The Walking Dead."

With such high praise and the numbers to back it up, it seems like only a matter of time before the series gets picked up for a second season. Until then (and afterward), keep it locked to Splash Page for "The Walking Dead" news, interviews, and updates.
