The Big TNA Wrestling Thread

The amount of times Hogan said "brother" really did become an annoyance to me :/ I don't remember him being that annoying. I thought, overall, TNA IMPACT! was great (that was my first time watching a full episode), especially with some of the returns - it was good to see Hall, Nash, Waltman, Bischoff and Hogan in the same ring (with Sting looking on, from the rafters ;)) It doesn't appear to have that 'spark' which WWE has though...

TNA was good imo (i love velvet sky mmmmmmm) hall looked awful omg lol and they said hogan "wasn't alone" and yet who did he bring? i kept waiting and waiting i was hoping for a rvd return oh well, disappointed though in both companies everything that happened we knew like before christmas lol no real surprises.

i found myself watching more TNA tonight. stepping back and looking at it, TNA will climb and WWE will fall. why? because wwe was the only thing around for about 10 years straight. people got bored and were seeking an alternative and now they've got it. its only a matter of time before tna goes head to head.

i noticed how they strategically placed the hogan segment right when RAW got on the air and Hart was in the ring with HBK.

i like the interest TNA has generated. RVD & The Young Bucks are yet to debut so they havent pulled out everything. I loved seeing Hardy, Hall, X-pac, orlando jordan. some guys i'd like to see.

Jeff Hardy wont be the last wwe guy to jump ship

Jeff probably won't be the last WWE man to make the jump but I don't seriously see anyone who is on the current WWE roster to make the jump unless they never want to work again for the WWE, TNA will use the free market to their advantage.

I don't think Jeff will be doing much of anything any time soon:

New TNA star Jeff Hardy's drug arrest went to the grand jury yesterday in his home state of North Carolina. The jury found that there was in fact enough evidence to indict Hardy. The case has officially been sent to the Superior Court, according to a spokesman with the Moore County Court. Hardy's case will be officially on the docket within a week.

maybe he was just bluffing when he said it but Hogan did say there are big names in WWE who have contacted Hogan about jumping to TNA once their contract is up. Tommy Dreamer was just released and is rumored to be on his way but other guys you have to imagine would like to leave are maybe Carlito, MVP, Big Show and maybe even a guy like Edge. those are just my guesses. I heard they gave Charlie Haas a raise to stay with WWE instead of leaving for TNA.

I would highly doubt big time those 3 would want to leave!

Edge is injured hence why's he's been away, Show might because there's not alot around for him but MVP is highly thought of.

Tommy Dreamer, maybe. Carlito, yes definetly lol. MVP, I don't think so not yet anyways. Big Show, I doubt it very much. Edge, probably never :)

And it's funny, they haven't done anything with Haas in years, and in fact buried him for months last year but want him not to jump to TNA so they give him a raise lol

TNA is such a cluster**** right now, that it is unbelievable. What was the point of bringing in those people yesterday? Whoever said that Hogan is annoying is completely correct. He delivers the same catch phrases that he did twenty years ago. They were boring then and continue to be boring now. Why bring Scott Hall in? That guy is such a miserable failure that he can hardly stand up straight. See kids, this is why you do not want to abuse alcohol. That man used to be quite good, but now he is just am embarrassment to the wrestling community. Please do some extensive rehab, my friend. Whatever you did before did not work, because you still have serious issues.

As far as Jeff Hardy goes, all I can say is that I am disappointed. I hope he does do jail time for his mistakes. What is wrong with these people? They have everything! An awesome amount of money flowing in, an amazing gift that they can use to entertain crowds, and millions of people that worship the ground they walk on. Yet they still like to delve into the drug scene. What is the reason? Were those hours you spent high as a kite really worth the attention it is getting now? I always respect a man (well maybe not always, but usually) until he gives me a reason not to. Get your act together, son.

Overall, I do wish TNA luck with their big roster and product changes. It will be chaotic for awhile, I am sure. If it can turn into a better product and stay that way for a year or so, TNA and especially Hogan will earn my respect. I think the WWE needs some serious pressure on them so they can stop their mediocre programming. My apologies, but if I see Hornswoggle one more time I might just go insane.

I dunno, I was disappointed in both WWE and TNA last night.. TNA of course had storyline issues.. with the whole limo thing and not following up on it, and the infinite amount of commercials they had.. especially when they said "We're with the match until the end, no more interruptions." Then as as soon as that was said.. commercial.

I'm pretty sure the other limo was Bischoff's :) ; one was Hogan's, the other was Bischoff's. Likewise, when they kept saying that Hogan was bringing somebody, it was Bischoff he was bringing. We already knew that because we'd been following Internet reports, but others won't have known.

Jeff Hardy's drug arrest went before the Grand Jury yesterday in Moore County, North Carolina. The Grand Jury found that there was enough evidence to indict Hardy, and the case will now move to superior court. Hardy's case is expected to be set on the docket within the next week.

Hardy was originally set for a probable cause hearing on January 27th for his September 2009 drug charges. The hearing would have determined whether there was enough evidence regarding the arrest to go on the Grand Jury. The hearing is not required, and it appears as if prosecutors have opted to move the case along through the Grand Jury.

Hardy's was arrested for the following charges on 9.11.09:

*Felony possession of cocaine.

*Felony drug trafficking of opium

*Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).

*Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.

*Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

As we all know, Jeff Hardy made his return to pro wrestling last night for TNA.
