The Big TNA Wrestling Thread

I've been hearing that TNA want to stop the majority of their PPV's and just do specials on Spike.

Supposedly that's the next major announcement.

I don't know why they would do that though, their buyrates are usually pretty good.

I think it would just boil down to their pretty bad attendance figures.

The word coming out of the TNA Impact tapings today is that the company no longer intends to use Sean Waltman.

Powell's POV: This comes as no surprise given that Waltman admitted in a recent interview that he had acquired Hepatitis C. However, there was talk of writing him back in as a character, but those plans are apparently off. With Scott Hall and Waltman out, it sounds like Kevin Nash will be moved back into the singles picture.

TNA president Dixie Carter created a lot of buzz last month on Twitter when she teased that her company would ? once again ? change forever. Carter later clarified her remark, noting that the "change" would not be a specific announcement.

"You will just see for yourselves in the coming weeks," Carter wrote.

Carter's teased surprise that would "change TNA forever" was Paul Heyman, but a deal between both parties could not be reached.

Though a deal was not reached then, it's expected that Heyman will join the company in the near future. TNA officials are reportedly willing to give the former ECW creative director anything he wants in order to have him join their organization.

It's said that TNA's internal condition has hit rock-bottom over the last few weeks. Many within the company feel they need a savior and the only person who fits the bill is Heyman.

Paul Heyman on joining TNA anytime soon (LOL):

In a new article posted by The UK Sun, Paul Heyman notes that if he ever went to work for TNA it would cost the company "millions." During a recent interview conducted by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, Heyman speaks candidly about what it would take for him to make the jump to the TNA ship, and from the sound of things, it's quite a bit. Heyman is quoted as saying, "There's nothing that I'm doing now that will pay $25-30million dollars over the course of the next five years.

"If that's a situation that can happen, and I can also put a team together and put together a five year plan, then it merits a lot of consideration.

"If it's anything less than that - then I'm not taking the time away from my children."

A teenage fan jumped the guardrail and entered the ring following the Mr. Anderson vs. Matt Morgan match at last night's iMPACT! taping in Orlando. The fan, who was described as being 13 years old, charged towards Anderson and held up his arm after the match. Morgan got up and clotheslined Anderson, which apparently scared the teenager as he ran away. The scripted angle continued as planned once the intruder left the ring.

There was heat on Universal Studios security for allowing the teenager to reach the ring. The teenager was told that he is prohibited from attending all future shows at The Impact! Zone.

On another note, there was a lot of joking backstage following the incident about how Morgan should have taken the kid out.

To bad that entire thing was scripted and not a shoot. To bad Dixie Carter is a moron and is pretty much letting TNA get crapped on just for the sake of a one-night only "Not-ECW" reunion show. To bad the ending of Impact thursday night was one of the most embarrassing, horrible, terrible things I've ever seen in wrestling - and that includes crap like David Arquette winning the WCW title and the Great Khali existing at all.

Dixie, for the love of everything holy (and TNA's future) let someone else run the company. Seriously. I'd much rather Hogan and Bischoff actually run things in reality, then Dixie at this point. Hell, let Jarrett back since he started the damn company.

Truly, WWE has nothing to be scared of in TNA. I mean, they can't even USE ECW, or promote it as an ECW show etc since WWE owns the name. Come on TNA, you have a huge roster of real talent. You don't need to keep bringing in dinosaurs from the olden days. You can push and create new talent just the same as WWE is doing now (wow, never thought I'd say that).

OK, rant over. Sorry.

That is still one of the best matches ever. Styles freaking out on Awesome was funny. Though his comments on the suicide dive are a bit, sad - especially considering Awesome commited suicide a few years ago :(

It's also sad that Masato Tanaka didn't get a contract with WWE or TNA or even ROH at this point. The man is one of the best in the world, period.

Also, the video is messed up Rappy :) The sound is off a bit :D
