What exactly is wrong on your last screenshot, except using a non-default style?

The fonts on your first screenshot look like bold MS Sans Serif. It should be Tahoma there (yeah, Microsoft should put Segoe UI there, but didn't). Make sure you've got Tahoma font installed - jimbo11883 caused some confusion here.

And yeah, I really like this look :p Kind of Windows 3.11-ish, but it's nice :p
