Cy-Kill
I am surprised no one mentioned this: At least back then, we could take games back to the store and get a refund.
DDStriker
I remember playing that on the NES, and sometimes it would popup in those SomeBigNumber-in-1 cartridges that had a lot of the same games overlapping just with different names. Yes, it was good when you could bring games back to the store and get your cash back, not like today where they'll only give you a gift card if you're lucky. interesting i've seen that posted a few times i haven't yet come across a store that wouldn't give refunds (then again i only take things back with a good reason) i even managed to get a full refund on guitar hero world tour including drums and guitar if a product is crap they don't have a choice but to take it back its unethical...but if you keep it for a few weeks then you can't expect to much unless its faulty I am surprised no one mentioned this: At least back then, we could take games back to the store and get a refund. ahahahaha that reminds me of lugnut (will have to find picture for that game :D) thats awful

After I got the first gen PSP on release day, and it f***ed up after almost a week, I took it back, the refunded me for the hardware, but refused to take back the software, ended up going to a gaming store and getting not even close to the price I paid for the game in the first place. What the heck is lugnut?

StealMySoda
LOTR Battle for Middle Earth 2. God what a waste of monies! I actually enjoyed that. Albeit a few years ago. Did enjoy it a bit more when I figured out how to get it to 1680x1050 resolution.

REM2000
Halo 3, took it back to the store the same day for trade in, didn't like the shooter at all. Blue Dragon, i loved the demo and was liking the game and then it suddenly went into a grind type of game and went incredibly boring quickly. Although i have mentioned two xbox games i find that the Nintendo DS is the biggest minefield a lot of games on that platform are real stinkers that im surprised they were actually released. Exactly what I thought before coming into the thread to read the replies. It was while it lasted but once you're done with the game you are so thankful for everything to be over ! I wish I never played that damn game.
+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted January 3, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted January 3, 2010 Oh yeah, Halo 3 was a complete waste of money also. Thanks for reminding me. :3 I even got that on the cheap for ?14.99 but I still felt ripped off.

Anarki
Daikatana :D Trust me on this though, the Gameboy color version was awesome, nothing like the PC/N64 rubbish ;) The game I regret (asking my mum to buy me for my birthday years ago) is Goldeneye rogue agent. StrikedOut
Space siege - Loved dungeon siege but this was over in next to no time at all. Company of heroes, opposing fronts and tales of valor - Original was great these 2 way to short Blazing squadrons - Just so poor. Sure there are others but these jump out at the moment... Cy-Kill
Space siege - Loved dungeon siege but this was over in next to no time at all. Space Siege wasn't so bad, at least I finished it twice by going through it fully human the first time, and then doing it again but choosing to go borg, can't say the same thing about Dungeon Siege, when I get around to it I'll probably try and find a copy of DS 1 & 2, so I can finish the first one to be able to play the second one. Cy-Kill
Recently, Borderlands. Good in a way, but no one else I know has bought it, and playing it single player sucks. The problem with Borderlands, was that a lot of the promised features in it were taken out, for example: vehicle customisation, etc.

I agree, it was just too short. DS 1 is a great game. I got about 30hrs into is and had to format my PC, hadnt backed up the save files. took me a while to pick it back up but was glad when I did.
