I posted Microsoft... I would'a posted panda, but they removed so many free features :( Free is where it's at!!!! FREE!!!

Anyway I've never felt better about my computer and my goodies thanks to the ease of use and reliability! *knocks on wood*

Nod32. I used to swear by AVG, and then Avira. We used Avira at work and never had any issues. But then we moved to a more server-centralised platform and implemented NOD32, and boy did it find some things that were missed. And it still has a fairly small footprint!

Well, i uninstall MSE from my pc and laptop (after several months trough first beta, MSE 1.0, beta v2.0 and MSE 2.0) because VERY slow boot times and poor perfomance ( i added my programs to the exception list(autocad, steam and games folder) for better performance).

Now i run Avira and i had faster boot times and small performance impact.

Bit defender for me. I have experienced Norton. I used to love it. Then I found out how bad their tech support is when you get a bad disc. 3 hours, 8 techs later I was finally refunded my money because of the bad disc. Then I went to AVG. I had to reformat my computer after a few months, AVG itself was infected. Avast is nice, but it also fell short. After exhausting those 2 Free antiviruses. I found out Bit defender offered a Free version. Tried it. My pc has been virus free on their free version. That's all it took for me, But then again I'm a dialup user so the fact that there is not active scanning while online does not bother me.

Haven't run any AV or firewall software on any of my systems in years. (apart from the odd scan with malwarebytes now and then, just out of curiosity)

Decided to install MSE a while ago. I don't know it's there, so that's great. Is it doing a good job? I don't know.
