Unfortunately you can only extend partitions if there is unallocated space directly to the right of it if you're using the default Windows partitioner.

The only way to do what you want would be the use a 3rd party partitioner. Try Partition Wizard:

Just as an FYI to anyone else needing to extend / move / alter partitions on their drive... The free version of EASEUS Partition Master does not support 64-bit XP / Vista / 7 editions, only the 32-bit versions are supported unless you purchase the professional edition. However, Partition Wizard (mentioned by geeman89) does support the 64-bit versions of XP / Vista / 7 with its free version. I recently used Partition Wizard to recover unused space allocated before (to the left of) the C: partition, which you cannot do using the built-in partition manager in Windows 7, and it worked great. Took about 3 clicks, and an hour of processing, and it was done.

For more information, compare the two applications and the features they offer with each version:

I downloaded partition wizard home edition to resize my system partition on my desktop. Unfortunately, it corrupted my hard drive. I had to use a free data recovery software to recover my data. After that, it took me much time to reinstall my OS and application. It is my pain.

I downloaded easeus partition master home edition to extend system partition on my laptop, it worked well.

Dude this is the exact example I went over in your other thread...

In that thread I told you your options -- use 3rd party or change your disk to dynamic.. I even gave you a screen shot of a dynamic disk and the partition be extended across disjointed sections.
