Well, I guess is not surprising the user with Forza as their avatar (not the BLUE thing) is the one trying to slag off at GT. Of course it may be purely coincidence from a lover of motorsport, somehow I doubt there isn't ulterior motives.

Most of the conversation I had with the guy he didn't have the discussions with the Forza avatar, I've seen a few people take a go at him but to me he seems a decent guy just varying opinions not really trolling like I've seen some accusations of.

I have a GT5 avatar, people around this section always tend to have some sort of gaming avatar don't be TOO quick to judge someone as unfair just because of their avatar. Anyway people should be focussing more on the video above, but remember two things

a) All cars have physical and engine damage

a1) But only nascar/rally cars from what we think have parts that can fall off

a2) And only 170 or something cars have internal, yes internal damage, but again that's probably the 170 nascar and rally cars.

Still it'll be much like Forza 3 damage for the rest of the cars, which is perfectly fine for a simulator where it's hard enough getting permission for damage on 1000 cars. Biggest thing to want are better physics for the crashes and mechanical damag, we have mechanical damage and we do already know the physics engine is overhauled.

Why did this thread get 2 votes at a one star rating? Ouch. I gave it a solid 5 to bump it up. It's by no means an earth shattering thread, but one star?

Nothing to do with the thread bro, my fanbase lives on.

Whilst someone/some people got banned in the past for it, there's still people who vote anything I post 1 star. Just ignore it.

I really wish the moderators would make star voting public, because they can tell who's doing it, but I guess that would just cause more moderation work.

Target seem to be thinking they're getting it soon :p

After browsing around the gaming area at Target, I've spotted one of their reservation cards for Gran Turismo 5, indicating a March 30th release. Although there have been reports of the game being delayed until Autumn of this year, this could be putting those rumors to rest.

Sony has not yet confirmed the US or EU release dates and has only given us a 'March 2010' release date for Japan. Being the gamer I am, I would jump for joy if God of War 3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Gran Turismo 5 all release in March of this year.

Nobody at GamingOwl noticed "Game release date subject to change blah blah..." in that shot? tongue.gif

Some better snaps of what looks to be the online interface at least from the build used above in the GTAcademy finals

Looks like they're starting to pay a bit more attention to car sounds as well, not that GT was ever bad for it, but more accuracy and a 5.1 system cranked up full = :woot:

Audio check, Lexus IS-F

Also here is a video from the GT Academy Finals, and The Ring, watch in 720p :)

Not as nicely produced as the video above, but it's nice to watch people who know how to drive :p

The sounds are much improved (something that always needed work). My biggest issue with previous GT titles were the over use of tire squealing. That is still present in the Academy build, but I am hoping it's addressed in the final.

Well, supposedly we won't have IRL:
