Yeah, I think you're right. I guess everyone just needs to see a bland IPB3 skin and then they'll appreciate how nice this one is.

I don't think the default skin in IPB3 is so bad (the old blue one was pretty nasty though), but the skins here are definitely a lot better. Personally I appreciate how much effort has been made to make them look as good as they do

I've uploaded a text file with stylish script for the buddy icon instead of the green dot here. I take no credit for this, it's not really my 'work' but thought i'd share it :) Hope that's ok.

Don't worry, people will gripe over the green dot also. You'll be forced to put a grey 1px image in its place soon.

All of the dots look the same so I guess everyone is online. I did refresh.

Eww. I thought the old one was sexy. This green dot reminds me of throwing up... The color is so dried out, not sparkle or bright glowing, looks old and washed out...

lol while i don't share his hate about it, i did prefer the other one better. the other one was much easier to notice with just a glance.
