Plants Vs Zombies for iPhone dated

A new trailer promoting the iPhone version of Plants Vs Zombies has been released, revealing that the game is to be launched on February 15th. The tower defense title has so far proved extremely popular on the PC and Mac platforms, for which it is currently available as a download and physical product.

As reported by Touch Arcade the trailer, which is available to view below, shows that the iPhone version of Plants Vs Zombies apes the gameplay of the original, challenging players to cultivate mutated and aggressive sentient plants in an attempt to stop waves of marauding undead.

Using the iPhone's touch screen, users can select and plant different botanical aberrations to tackle a huge variety of enemies in the suburban setting that so often plays host to zombie invasions.

Plants Vs Zombies is created by the huge casual publisher PopCap, which is behind the Peggle and Bejewelled series.

This is awesome! I just bought it yesterday and damn it's addictive. My typical tactic is back row with Sunflowers, then Peashooters or Potato Mines if needed first, and then get Repeaters up and it's unbreakable.
