Kirkburn
... I've had those too, but I wouldn't describe it as unacceptably broken. However, Lionhead are very likely aware, and it will be patched. An issue/bug submission page has been set up: http://lionhead.com/fable/fableIII/issuereport.aspx (Yes, it shouldn't be like that in the first place, but at least something is happening about it)

Kirkburn
The breadcrumb trail works exactly as it did in Fable 2. It occasionally vanished or pointed in weird locations too. It doesn't look like it's been altered one bit. It's pretty similar, but it does feel a bit worse this time. However, at least we're not getting the 'schoom' noise every time it recalculates though. In any case, I'm hopeful it'll be improved. It is a bit odd since they built the engine in Fable II and should only have been improving it in III. For those feeling Fable III is smaller than Fable II ... I'm not getting that feeling (haven't finished yet). Possibly it's partly due to Fable II having two sizable DLCs and Fable III not having any so far?
Ionium
I don't like that I have to whistle to every person I see, where's my expression wheel! Where's mergo the magician! Argh! I think I'll go back to fable II where I could shoot gargoyles and not have to "unlock" chests by delivering notes and packages all day long just so I can spend 40 medallions on magic level 2... Sounds like you haven't played much of the game at all so far... There's little need to do many 'ferrying' quests. If you're obsessed with unlocking everything at a very early stage, perhaps ... but the idea isn't for you to do that. (And this is coming from a completionist). Richard Hammond
Very disappointed with the ending, I couldnt bring myself to be the tyrant my brother was and ended up with about 1.6M in the funds by the time the darkness came and all i got for my troubles was "you have defeated a great evil but a terrible price was paid, those who survive to rebuild whisper to each other: who is truly the kingdoms greatest enemy -- the invader who seeks to conquer or the ruler who resists too weakly", what annoyed me more is that it only seems to have one save so if i want to be the ###### just to see what happens i have to replay the WHOLE game? I was disappointed in the ending too. I also thought the ending was just too short and that they hyped it up too much. Then the final fight itself was extremely easy too. Now as far as you wanting to save everyone, you should of done the money glitch. It would of taken you anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on how much money you had to start doing it with. If I recall correctly you need at least 8.5 or more million to do all the good deeds as well as save everyone (6.5 million people). The 6.5 million dollars is for the people since gold is a 1:1 ratio. Sadly, yes, you have to play the hole game over again if you want to do things differently, in your case, be bad. It's just how it is and they should of done it a bit differently but meh, what can you do.
Sethos
The ending was indeed weak, very weak. I hated how you were portrayed badly no matter what you did, how the game lured you into a sense of, the game would be all messed up afterwards, not just let you keep playing - I felt forced to make some evil decisions to keep at least some funds, even break a promise but that was all pointless ... come to think of it - I hated the ending. That's why I did the money glitch (as I said above) so I could be 100% good without having to break a promise, kill any of the people, signing the bills for the better (lower tax, make a school for the children, build a waste dump, etc etc). It can obviously be done without it though but it would be time consuming earning all that money and likely quite a few days of playing time while ignoring the main quest, so days don't go down because you only have 1 year. I searched google and found about 4 different people suggesting different methods of doing it. Could someone post exactly how they managed to do it? I searched google and found about 4 different people suggesting different methods of doing it. Could someone post exactly how they managed to do it? Here you go: http://videogamesblo...r-easy-gold.htm It's really easy, just as long as you have a 2nd controller. Then just sign in (with a dumby profile) by pressing start on the controller in-game. Just as the video says there, just gift all your money (don't bother with items unless you want to duplicate them) to the 2nd controller/profile then have it reject, sign back in, reject them again and keep doing so. Eventually when you have enough money or think you do, sign out the 2nd controller and go to your sanctuary with your main profile and accept everything (constantly pressing A). If you still need more, keep doing it, you can gift $100,000 per gift, so if you have $300,000 you'll have to give it to her 3x. Then keep rejecting it and your money will start building up extremely fast. As I mentioned, it should take up to 30 minutes, if even that, to get millions of dollars. You don't need more than $20 million, so anywhere between $16million is more than fine. Oh by the way, I heard from some it doesn't work anymore? However, I have not received a patch for the game and I do play online so I'm not sure what other money glitches are out there but this one will work. I don't think it is possible for them to patch it unless they required the 2nd player to save the gave before they exit. I think that might be the only way possible for them to patch this, I could be wrong though.

And yes, defeating the darkness was way too easy. and then the game just ends.

Playing through a second time now, with the money glitch and taking it a lot slower. Trying to enjoy it a little more.

Tharp Daddy
Can't wait for them to fix my falling character so i can finish this game and trade it in, i was severely disappointed. Hopefully lionhead takes notice and does better with Fable 4.

Sethos
Must confess myself disappointed at this point. You'd think this game would have more options or depth to keep you going even well after initial release but there's just nothing to keep you playing. The story was the only thing keeping you going and now that you're done, there's no incentive to restart or keep going whatsoever. Was speaking to a friend of mine and we both think the game should have a sort of New Game Plus where you keep abilities, seals and all that but the enemies are now much stronger and there's far more of them. The mini-games are fun for 20 minutes, buying houses and collecting money is utterly pointless and exploring isn't that exciting. Then you'd think Co-op could keep the flame going but man, it's horrid! SO much loading, when your friend goes back and forth between areas and sanctuary. Also, when doing co-op the loading times are almost double that of playing alone and in a span of a mere 30 minutes, it has already been loading hell. Then I brought a wad of gold into my friends game, he purchased stands and buildings with my money and I get sod all in return after leaving? Fable II was the peak of the series, I loved that game. Fable III just feels like a cheap money grab and there's nothing really new under the sun - Probably one of the most shallow "Role playing games" I've played in a long time. Tharp Daddy
Not sure what can be done better. The game is amazingly awesome. The moral choices were very easy for most of the game, black and white was sharply defined. Combat was not very deep, not many spells, tons of glitches, no expression wheel, not many outfits/clothes, having a character in your save menu (Jasper) tell you to check out the DLC every time you go in there gets damned annoying (I love John Cleese, i really do, but i can only stand hearing "there are new items in the sanctuary shop" so many times), the graphics were not very good, weapon morphing was not as deep as was hoped, it feels like they took a long time to make this game, but instead moved a few steps backwards in many areas. I love Lionhead, and i will no doubt give the next Fable a try - but they need to take all the criticism to heart and knock Fable IV out of the park.
