sabrex
This is the first 10.1 beta that works properly on all the sites I normally visit. No crashes or unusual artifacts. Works very well so far. I'm not sure how much cpu it's using, but it seems faster than 10.0 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/878098-adobe-flash-player-101-beta-3/#findComment-592277386 Share on other sites

The_Decryptor Veteran Posted February 26, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 26, 2010 They won't add 64bit support until browsers are 64bit (or capable of loading 64bit plugin) and browsers won't "go" to 64bit until there's a reason to. It's the chicken and the egg. 64 bit browser won't get mainstream unless there is support for 64bit by Flash, codecs and other plugins/programs. 64 bit IE loads and brings up pages so much more quicker than the 32 bit version on my system (close to the performance of Opera and Chrome). We are really missing out by not have 64 bit browsing. At last the Youtube videos actually work with Flash 10.1 beta 3 on my WinXP SP3 computer. Previous betas of Flash 10.1 could not display youtube videos properly and showed messed up graphics. The_Decryptor Veteran Posted February 26, 2010 Veteran Share Posted February 26, 2010 They already are doing OOPP in Firefox. That won't allow for 64bit at the moment though, since the plugin host is still 32bit (and there's no reason to make 64bit Flash, etc.) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/878098-adobe-flash-player-101-beta-3/#findComment-592285348 Share on other sites
