I followed your instructions and all. Theme works great and looks great!! Only problem Im now having is the Open and Save as windows not showing the location panels on the left. Anyone having that problem? I replaced both explorerframe.dll in System32 and SysWOW64 folders. Was I only suppose to replace 1? :x

sfc /scannow fixed that for me.

Hm I did what you told me to, then rebooted and theme was gone. Had to repatch my files. But now I cannot replace system32/explorerframe.dll. Even when I give my permission :/ Whats going on?!

You have not set the owner on the object correctly

You need to take ownership AND give permissions

Just use UXSTYLE

No need for patching anymore

thanks for the program! But I still cannot replace the explorerframe.dll in System32. Still telling me the file is open :/ Dunno why I cant do it anymore even with the registry hack. Can replace the one in SysWOW64 no problem though :C

edit:// Nvm I got it, just had to rename it. But still...the left panel where all the locations are still blank!! Gonna try to run command again and see what happens

edit2:// When i do the sfc /scannow thing it just fixes the dll and my back/front icons are back to circle :(

I give up with the explorerframe.dll -.- Everytime I replace the System32 one, I get the square back/forward buttons but lose the left panel in the Save as and Open dialogues! Even that scannow command line didnt help, it just resets the .dll file to original and I'm back to circles again :(

There are two explorerframe.dll files and make SURE you only replace the one that it tells you to. If you replace both there are consequences.

Use this link to change.

If I install IE9 Beta will the replacement explorerframe-dll that is supplied with Shine 2.0 work, or will itr break the IE9 install?
