What I really like about it, is it has got to be the most sturdy desk I have found. Excellent cable management abilities, even though I haven't tried them yet lol and it took 10 minutes for me to put it together by myself. The best possible feature though, is that I can add on to it with other bush furniture pieces and it is completely configurable to how I want it to look. It has a scratch resistant finish, and PVC banding around the edges to resist nicks. I would have happily paid 50-100$ more for this desk. Also I don't need a mousepad on the desk as my razer mamba tracks it flawlessly.

Do they do a smaller version, say 100cm or 110cm in length?

I don't think they do. They do sell bigger. I absolutely love this desk. Grabs fingerprints like crazy though

Drat! I need a smaller one because of how the rest of the room is laid out

I like that chair, can ask who makes it/where did you get it?

I got it from Ebay, was looking at it from Argos HERE, but all the stores near me was out of stock, bought it on Ebay though with a ?40 saving.

@ Louisville Slugger - Very nice! You sir, are a movie fan!

@ bob_c_b - Very tidy rig you've got there. Can you post a wide shot so we can see it next to your desk, or wherever it is?

RE: Tower on the desk... IMO putting a computer case on a carpeted floor is horrible. Walking around kicks up a lot of dust, as does the act of vacuuming (although you are simultaneously sucking up dust). I also don't recommend it if you have any sort of pet with fur. My tower is currently on my desk, but it doesn't seem so imposing next to me because it's aluminum (ie not black), so I don't have the feeling of being next to a wall.

Here's mine, hope the quality is good enough, picture taken with phone then reduced.

Only thing missing from shot is cable modem, its router and the ADSL modem, as they are too far back to be seen (beside the white computer case).

PS3 is behind the T.V for the moment.

And my other section of the room, workbench + plus A/V stuff/PS2/Wii & Games (only till I get a shelf built to put them in).

22" LCD T.V under the Towel :p

The servers and VM Machines are all in a temp controlled closet (along with my machine used as a router/hub/firewall). The rest of the machines I will post in a bit. 3 Windows machines and 2 Linux machines (those are the main ones). These are all in my home "office". I run an IT company which does contract work for medium large companies. I'll post pics of some of my server room and main work area of my office building.
