Which IKEA desk is that? I'd like to know. :)

Its called 'MIKEL' absolute deal of a desk at only 40 quid or so! So many people have this desk on these forums lol.

I have two MIKAEL desks and I love them. Nice and big and just plain simple. The only thing is that I don't believe IKEA sells the MIKAEL desk anymore. The closest they sell is the JONAS desk but it's $130. There's another one called MICKE. It's like the MIKAEL desk except it has drawers and it's $70.

Yeah the one I currently have is a MIKAEL but it's the workstation one with a tower slot and shelving. Not really what I'm after now I have my laptop. I'll probably see if I can fit the Jonas in, it's a close fit!

Been a while since I've participated in one of these..

I finally have two monitors exactly the same kind.. Acer H223H. 1920x1080 and they're WONDERFUL next to each other.

I find it strange to work on 2 monitors like that... 3 might be fine or one big main and smaller extra monitor for stats or something. Dont you spend most of the time looking in between the monitors into the frames?

@2s2k: You got rid of that other crazy ikea lamp you had?

the gold one? Yeah, that was just a temporarely replacement. It was a really ugly looking one :D

@ Zain Adeel: white desks do look better on pictures, believe me

u mean they dont look better in person?

than black..

my white desk has quite some scratches and isn't actually as white. But you can't see it on my pics.

If I were you I would go with a glossy red one, I'm looking out for one ;)

In my eyes a nice wooden desk looks the best. Vivid colours only work if the rest of the room is styled in the same manner.

I'm in the market for a desk like the one below. Looks like it was available at Ikea till last year and they no longer carry it.

Does anyone know where I could find something similar now? I am looking for a simple desk just like this one for my new computer desk.

I posted earlier, but took some newer photos.

Thanks for searching! I don't believe that is it though, but I can't be sure. The one you posted has a pull out thing, which this one doesn't. The above desk doesn't have rails for the pullout either.

The one in the pic and the one I am referring to is in this Ikea Mikael doc: http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_IE/customer_service/buying_guides.pdf/MIKAEL.pdf .

MIKAEL desk, 140x75x76 cm.

May be completed with MIKAEL glass desk top and/or

MIKAEL add-on unit (sold separately).

I am only looking for something similar, so thank you for bringing that to my attention. Though I could do without the pullout.
