vajlent
New icons of tabbar landed! Download : http://ftp.mozilla.o...-central-win32/ (pick latest one) So you can't get through autoupdate then?
SoapyHamHocks Member Posted July 19, 2010 Member Share Posted July 19, 2010 So you can't get through autoupdate then? Eventually it will be part of the nightly builds. If you install that it should update to the latest nightly once its becomes available.
Darrian
To get it there you have to disable tabs in titlebar stylish script (if you have that) then drag it to the left of the tabs (otherwise it will stick to the right) apply the script (above) and then re-enable tabs in titlebar. I found that if you have a couple tabs open you can drag the home button into the tabs themselves, as if you were trying to position it between them, and it will automatically stick it to the left. I don't know if that will work with only 1 tab open or not, but it certainly is interesting behavior.

On another note, Echofon and download status bar extensions stopped working, even when compatibility check is set to false :(

SkyDX
download status bar extensions stopped working, even when compatibility check is set to false :( That's the reason why I don't want to test drive it as my main browser for a few days :pinch:

Darrian
Oh nice tip. On another note, Echofon and download status bar extensions stopped working, even when compatibility check is set to false :( Download statusbar info (though some people have reported it to be working) http://dlstatusbar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=dlsb&action=display&thread=1693 I can't find anything about Echofon except confirmation that it hasn't been fixed for 4.0b2pre yet. Apparently this is the thread to keep an eye on for working extension updates: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1937759

Starchild
Is it planned to add the feature that, after closing a tab, delays the resize of the remaining tabs (like Chrome)? This is probably the biggest reason why I switched to Chrome.
Darrian
I was just thinking; I haven't been this excited about a browser (or active on Neowin) since Phoenix was first released. The only thing missing is Binary working on a new Watercolor theme. It's like deja vu.
Steven P. Administrators Posted July 19, 2010 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2010 Watercolor, that was a theme I used for ages! *reminisces* All I need now is Beta 3 & Trillian 5 to make my Windows Experience meaningful again :p

sanctified Veteran Posted July 19, 2010 Veteran Share Posted July 19, 2010 No complaints here :p To be honest I dont like that. The one in the mockups its cleaner, the menu button's position and aesthetics are perfect and the navigation buttons are more pleasant to look at. vajlent
I wanna move the menu button more to the left side and make the active tabs in the same transparency as the toolbar, how do I do that? EDIT: nevermind the menu button, I fixed that one. ;) I just need help with the tabs transparency. (if it's possible.)
