After installing beta 4, whenever I open external links, I get this message:

When I click the word "here", the link opens fine. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

You have adblock plus installed?

If so, get the latest dev build:

https://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/adblockplus/

If not, describe the problem further, and list any other installed extensions.

Thanks, updating adblockplus seemed to fixed the problem. But what in Adblock plus caused the problem in the first place?

The way HTTP redirects were handled was changed in Firefox, extensions overriding the HTTP layer (NoScript/AdBlock Plus to name two) completely broke it after that happened.

NoScript got fixed within a few hours, AdBlock Plus after about a week and a half.

I'm not seeing any ugly in that picture.

DirectWrite does have some bugs, but they're mainly with light text on a dark background.

But it's blurryer than the normal (I think it's microsoft cleartype when directwrite is off). So it's clearer, sharper and better without directwrite. Lot of letters (for example "l") is sometimes a 2 pixel blurry line, ...

But without directwrite, thins like this: http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Performance/PsychedelicBrowsing/Default.html must use te CPU and has less score :/

Firefox 4 Beta 4 Build 2 now available here:

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/4.0b4-candidates/build2/

Windows build is in the unsigned folder, mac & linux builds are signed

Build 3

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/4.0b4-candidates/build3/

Dumb question, how do you download and install it?

Thanks

Last pre beta 5 tinderbox is borked btw (crashed, won't even open)
