The_Decryptor Veteran Posted August 20, 2010 Veteran Share Posted August 20, 2010 The new tab design for the OS X theme hasn't landed yet, it's still the temporary theme they made for one of the betas. revanmj
The new firefox button's menu is going to land today: https://bugzilla.moz...g.cgi?id=583386 The patch was written by SoapyHamHocks  But why there is no "Check for updates" function in "Help" menu? Pickaxe
sorry if this has already been answered, but is there a userChrome that puts the Firefox button inline with the tab bar (saving as much space as possible) yet doesn't mess up the look of Tab Candy? thanks. aznkid25
It will be moved to the "About Firefox" window. When will the "Check for updates" option be moved? I didn't see it in the latest nightly. SoapyHamHocks Member Posted August 20, 2010 Member Share Posted August 20, 2010 When will the "Check for updates" option be moved? I didn't see it in the latest nightly. There is a bug report for it, so I guess whenever someone submits a patch. The thing is there is no mockup yet or I would tackle it. Darrian
I love the new menu! The only thing I could possibly think to change would be to add a tools menu that includes all the entries made by extensions, so I could use it to access xmarks and downthemall. Still, it's a vast improvement and I'm so glad they used it. Kyang
The new menu is nice. There's just a few aesthetic problems, and "Options > Options" seems a little redundant, but otherwise it's a welcome change. EDIT: Has anyone else noticed the window borders now match the mockup? :) . rawr_boy81
full screen <video> uses OpenGL, OpenGL in the main normal window hasn't been enabled yet (same as Direct3D on Windows, there's loads of underlying bugs) And scrolling and such isn't fully hooked up, it works fine but it tears and ends up drawing too much. Edit: http://people.mozilla.com/~vladimir/misc/makegofaster.xpi It adds a button/menu item that allows you to open the current page in a new H/W accelerated Window, using Direct3D on Windows and OpenGL on Linux/OS X. Got the tracking bug for the OpenGL merging and enabling? is it going to make it in time for the 4.0 final release or is it still up the air?
