Darrian
Yeah, I don't expect them to meet the beta 7 deadline of 2nd half of September, but I think they'll be able to get RC1 out in October.

Darrian
I don't see any mention on the releases page of a beta 8. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases
bogas04
Why so worried? You would get better builds what so ever , date doesn't matter much.

Kirkburn
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=blocking2.0:beta7+ 37 blockers remain  i doubt we will see beta 7 before september is over.. Given that the overall number of blockers to final is over 700 (which I believe is quite normal - many bugs are quick fixes), I don't think 37 (now 35) is a huge issue. Still have a week for it to go down (or they may just reassign some bug priorities).
+Frank B. Subscriber² Posted September 23, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted September 23, 2010 I'm starting to wonder if Mozilla shouldn't delay the final release of Firefox 4.0 (planned for November) for another month or two. Neither the current beta nor the trunk builds are anywhere near the quality you'd expect the product to have 2 months before the scheduled release date. Steven P. Administrators Posted September 23, 2010 Administrators Share Posted September 23, 2010 OK this is strange and annoying. Some websites "can't be found" (eg: https://mijnzakelijk.ing.nl/internetbankieren/) but it loads fine in Chrome. I've had this with various sites and a refresh or "try again" sometimes fixes the issue, but this is pretty flakey for the preb7 beta. I ended up doing my payments using Chrome :/

You can however drag and drop any thing to that bar by using customize. I do not like it as I can't see when my downloads are finished and some extensions rely on the status bar.
