aznkid25
should still just be in the customize toolbar window i would guess You were right. Thanks.
xankazo
After installing beta 11, I noticed the button to activate Tab Candy/Panorama disappeared. Any way to re-enable it in about:config or something? [Ctr+Shift+E] is the keyboard shortcut for it.
Kaoxt
Not sure if anyone else has noticed, or if there is a but still for it, but the borders still seem to think on the sides and bottom aero border. Seems about 1px off from everything else.
torrentthief
just tried beta 11 build 2, directwrite still looks bad :( It is still freezes with lots of tabs when opening a new tab and when changing a tab it often still makes the tab into a new window. Would have thought these would have been fixed by now, beta 8 worked fine in these areas, beta 9-11 have been really bad. 98 bugs still left btw. epk
Using beta 11 I'm having a hard time spotting any differences with b10, lol. Are they still planning to change the drag&drop of tabs' animation? I saw a vid somewhere in this thread that it was more like IE9 and it looked pretty good ! +Frank B. Subscriber² Posted February 3, 2011 Subscriber² Share Posted February 3, 2011 One visible change will be in today's Minefield build: Bug 541656 - Display hyperlink URLs at bottom of window (instead of right side of location bar) I.e. one more step away from the mock-ups and towards imitating the Chrome UI. Just come the mozilla forums to post this and you beat me to it. :) But wow, that's a letdown. the hyperlinks in the address bar where done very nicely and it made it different than other browsers. We're going the way of Chrome for sure.
epk
Oh, I don't like it. It's gonna take much screen space now.
Kirkburn
Oh, I don't like it. It's gonna take much screen space now. Man, how small is your screen? In any case, the awesomebar link location was interesting, but I have to agree it needed more work to perfect. Just because they're using a similar version to Chrome now isn't a terrible thing: Chrome's method works well, and is a good idea. Doesn't mean they'll have to stick with it. kilara1988
If "at bottom of window" means it the bar with "waiting","connecting","transferring" and other loading messages that landed recently i like it.And its not going to take screen space it will show up only when you hover a link(i guess).I really didn't like the links displayed in the awesomebar. torrentthief
in beta 11 build 2 the urls are displayed in bottom left when the websites are re-directing and stuff but if you hover over a hyperlink the url is displayed in the url bar, i'm happy if it goes back to the bottom right as its harder to read with your current url and the hyperlink url in the same text box. Other than that i notice no differences to beta 10.

Darn it! I loved that feature. Incidentally, anyone know how to skin the "addons bar" from beta 11? I just need the css selector name...

mancode20
Anyone notice that in Beta 10 sometimes copy and paste doesn't work? I don't know if it's an extension causing it or what. It wasn't like that in Beta 9. I haven't tried Pre Beta 11 yet. Also, anyone notice how the thumbnail previews in Panorama don't always seem to load correctly? Sometimes it doesn't load the website preview. It's just like an ugly white background or something. Also, when you go to the bookmarks menu, then right click on a bookmark and select delete, it flashes and doesn't always smoothly delete it. Once again, that could be an extension causing it. Possibly the bookmark extension Add Bookmark Here 2, though the 4.0 version I'm using says it's compatible. I didn't notice that in Beta 9 either. If they fix those issues, Firefox 4.0 is perfect to me. Panorama is the main selling point for me. Does Opera or Chrome have an extension, or plans to make their own version of that? Every browser should have that great feature!

Kyang
I'm not sure I understand the proposed changes for titlebar tabs. If I'm understanding them correctly, they're saying that if the user throws their mouse to the top, and then does a hold-click and drag, it activates Aero snap, but if the user simply clicks, the tab is selected? On the other hand, if the user moves the mouse a few pixels in the tab itself, as opposed to the screen edge, and then does a hold-click and drag, they activate the tab tearing? If that's the case, I like it, with the only downside being that reordering tabs will be just ever so slightly more difficult.
Guest mattburles
well there are 23 blockers left for beta than we can see release candidate so i dont see the release candidate being too far off unless it takes a long time to fix just 23 blockers which i hope will not turn out to be the case. so the final could be delayed 1-2 weeks or still be on time depends on the 54 blockers left i guess. adipose
Does anyone else have the gmail bug, where arrows don't work in the compose body? Basically, you can't arrow around. You can ctrl-arrow between words, you can even shift-arrow to select text. But if you try to move around with the arrows, it doesn't move.
