As mentioned before, 'Tab Candy' landed on trunk today. Download the build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/.

What does Tab Candy do?

It lets you organise your tabs in 'tab sets'. A picture says more than a thousand words:

In the screenshot I have two tab sets - Mozilla and Neowin, each with two tabs. Clicking the thumbnail for a tab brings up only the tabs in that particular tab set.

Cui bono?

People who make heavy use of tabbed browsing. With Tab Candy you can group your tabs corresponding to the various tasks you're working on or searching for.

How do I activate it?

Right-click the toolbar -> Customize -> drag the Tab Sets icon into the tab bar.

This aside, Firefox Sync has also been activated by default in today's build.
