Are there clues to the knowledge of what we have now (astronomy, geography, geometry, mathematics, medicine, philosophy, and physics) that are comparable to the knowledge the Egyptians had? Did most of the invaluable information that was burned lost forever or did we recover most of it throughout human history?

No knowledge is truly 'lost' -- humans will eventually relearn whatever lessons and science needed. ;)

There is an underground chamber near one of the paws of the Sphinx -- perhaps it contains some of Alexandria's lost treasures.

When it is finally reopened, then we will know.

Alexandria was a Greek city ;) As for the level of scientific advancement, Europe probably caught up with it during the period of renaissance if not sooner. The historical records, however, are forever lost.
