Smallville (Season 10 - The Final Season!)

Recommended Posts

I cannot believe Chloe is leaving... Since last weekend, I've been watching all the Smallville seasons' episodes... By the time I reach Season 9's finale and then watch Season 10, it's going to be devastating to watch... Lana and Chloe made the show, as well as Lex, back then in the beginning. Now they are complete history and Lana seems to have disappeared off Earth and went elsewhere because during the future with Zod ruling with the Solar Towers, she never helped save him and the people, neither when he went to fight Zod... I understand Kara left and yes she went to somewhere far out of this solar system I'm sure, but Lana disappearing off the planet isn't expected as she said she would help people, not hide...

I just hope Smallville is still worth while... They may still have a lot of money to do so much better than in the beginning, but all new people replacing everybody around Clark is just terrible. Now I understand how Clark flies...he helps save the world and Chloe as one of his best friends that's been there forever finally goes away... :(

Hope is still there though even though everybody is gone. :)

WOO! Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to the 10th season! HOPEFULLY the final battle with be with Lex. That would make me one very happy fan!

i doubt lex is coming back. the final fight will probably be darkseid, i think that's when he will put on the suit.

Chloe will be back in at least an episode or two.

The final fight at the end of Season 9 was a SERIOUS let-down. You got to see

some old faces on TV screens, but there was no fight. REALLY???

Talk about anti-climatic. It would have been better to have the heroes fight it

out and then have Season 10 be a sort of Pilot for a new Lois and Clark series.

They also need to spend some money on getting Lex back for the Season 10

climax. It just isn't a proper Superman story without Lex behind the curtain.

Whoever made that made his head way too small. Looks terrible.

well you must have horrible taste because that is the best manip ive seen. it's getting rave reviews online. sorry i don't mean to be rude but you always talk negatively in every thread i see on here.

Sorry that I don't think that everything that ever exists is the best thing since sliced bread. You and Jedi apparently do, especially when it comes to bad television shows.

Yea, it was a great SCENE. Not the epic fight they had built up. So I stick with my original thought: Fail.

Ok, I agree with you there. But when has, in the history of this show, anything lived up to the hype they spend an entire season building?

This season's fight was a lot better than the 20 second disposal of Doomsday that we saw last year.

The only way they can make a Superman fight epic is if they had a fight across the globe, which their budget isn't prepared for. But the fight was definitely great and far better than last year. The idea of using the dagger to eliminate powers was a good way to present a situation where there are limitations to what the two combatants could do. I'm taking it, they writers took the criticism of the Doomsday fight to heart.

Off-topic:

There are a number of things I hate about Smallville, but I have to say the one that I hate they most is the flying animation they use. They make as if they always have to be jetting somewhere; there's zero finesse to how they present the flying aside from the very first episode of the entire series where we see Clark floating in the bed. I'm hoping they change this next year. I'm doubtful, but I really hope they do.

The title of the Season 10 Premiere of Smallville is "Lazarus".

- The term "Lazarus" has been used before on the series, in Season Three, where it was a serum that brought a deceased human back to life for 12 hours, as had happened with Adam Knight. It's also well-known in the DC Comics universe as the "Lazarus Pit" is a term used in Batman comics, usually associated with Ra's Al Ghul. The Pit has rejuvenating abilities that can render someone youthful and nearly immortal. The fourth season premiere of Supernatural was titled "Lazarus Rising" and was about Dean's return to the world of the living, and of course there is the Lazarus referred to in the Christian Bible, a man who was restored to life by Jesus in the Book of John. Perhaps one or all of these things are clues on how Clark will survive his fall.

Someone is returning!

"Obviously Jonathan's return raises some questions, given that the character died back in Season 5. I can't reveal yet the how and why of Jonathan's appearance, but I can tell you that we'll see him in the season premiere, entitled "Lazarus." In addition, Schneider is expected to appear in at least one other episode as the season continues."

Jonathan Kent was the husband of Martha Kent and the adoptive father of Clark Kent, and ran their farm. Jonathan died of heart failure on January 26, 2006, the night he was elected Kansas State Senator. Jonathan was a farmer his whole life; as a result, he had a strong work ethic and very high moral values. He believed people should be honest, ethical and, like himself, upfront and sincere. Jonathan was a firm but caring father. He was extremely influential in helping Clark adjust to his abilities and cope with being different. He died in the fifth season's episode, "Reckoning."
