Stop reading kryptonsite.

They are not fair judges. They could show Clark staring out a window for 42 minutes and it would get a 7 on kryptonsite.

*SIGH*

Kryptonsite isn't the only site/forum people love it!

Same with other forums, seriously.

People have sense of humor, and love it. How good is your SOH?

But yet, thats where you always go when people complain about the terribleness of the show.

Notice I had very few complaints about most of this season so far. It wasn't bad. But this excuse for an episode marked a new low in the series. It was, by far, the worst one they've aired yet. And thats saying quite a lot.

*SIGH* Where else to go besides the obvious fan sites? You act like we need to listen to what average fans think, and not what the main Smallville fans think. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that!

(This forum may have a Smallville thread, and I usually start it but this time it was Rappy)... but what I am getting at is this site is not a Superman/Smallville fansite like those, I am sorry. It's opinions on here DOESN'T count, at all!

The opinion on Kryptonsite and SHH COUNTS (Or any of these Smallville fan sites), actually!!!

And the news you need to learn is that MOST fans loved the episode, I know you might be shocked!!!

People DO have a sense of humor, after all, which is GREAT!!! :D

Do you think the Smallville writers GIVE a F*** about people that aren't their main Smallville fans? No they don't and shouldn't either!

Why does my opinion not count? I've watched the show since the beginning and I've probably only missed a few shows in the middle seasons.

Just because our opinions conflict with yours, doesn't mean they don't count. I'd rather discuss the show like adults on Neowin than throw hugs and kisses and sing Kumbaya with the cave-dwelling people on those sites. (See how it sucks when you generalize?)

Because, like I said, MAJORITY of fans loved this episode, had no problems with it. These are the show's MAIN fan sites, fans of the genre. That's what COUNTS!

While there maybe some fans here on Neowin (Myself included) it's not a fair gauge to see if the majority of fans liked it... these sites actually DO, IMO

I think it really has a lot to do with people's personality and sense of humor in the end, is why there is 2 polar opposite views on this episode..

I noticed that most people had a problem with this episode, also has/had a problem with this show generally.

It's about damn time they're kicking things into high gear. What the show needs right now is a lot of story progression. I didn't like the filler episodes as much as the standard episodes because they don't move the story forward.

Anyway,

I knew from the beginning that "Alexander" would become Conner Kent (aka Superboy). The ending of the episode was reassuring. I was looking forward to seeing Darkseid again and his appearance has quelled my fears for now. I hope they focus on this story line and at least re-visit some of the previous baddies like Granny Goodness. I also hope the writers don't forget about Oliver Queen (as he was branded with the Omega symbol).

Looks like either CW SUCKs at promoting, or they are intentionally downplaying the Finale hype/expectation (Now I am worried!)!

I am hoping that they suck at promoting, of course.

Want to see a Finale that truly is good as expectations.

Then again, I really think they need to fire the promoting person and get someone better.

All those teasers are just WEAK and PATHETIC!!!

This is why not many of my friends watch this show.

Either some of the episodes sucks, or when it's really good they just don't promote it right and NO ONE knows how good it actually is to bother watch!

Then, only the diehard get to watch it and like " This episode is AMazing, but How the HELL CW never promoted this episode in the first F***ng place?"

Kent seems like a pointless episode to me.

Booster: DC COMICS CHARACTER BOOSTER GOLD ARRIVES FROM THE FUTURE; THE BLUE BEETLE IS BORN! ? After everything that happened with the VRA, Lois (Erica Durance) tells Clark (Tom Welling) it?s best to make ?Clark Kent? forgettable and awkward so people don?t suspect he?s The Blur. However, the two are stunned when a fame-hungry superhero from the future, Booster Gold (guest star Eric Martsolf, ?Days of Our Lives?), sweeps into town and begins making saves and posing for press ops, completely winning over the city of Metropolis. Booster begins his campaign to take The Blur?s place as the ?World?s Greatest Superhero? and tries to charm Lois into writing a story about him, but she?s not having his antics and begins her own campaign for The Blur. During one of Booster?s saves, an alien weapon in the form of a scarab falls from a truck and fuses itself to a boy named Jaime Reyes (guest star Jaren Brandt Bartlett), turning him into the Blue Beetle. Unfortunately, Jaime is unable to control the suit and Blue Beetle starts attacking Metropolis. Tom Welling directed the episode written by Geoff Johns (#3X6019).

Clark (Tom Welling) decides to return to the exiled land to make sure other phantoms are not fleeing and is furious when Oliver (Justin Hartley) tricks Clark into taking him along. With Clark?s powers gone, the two are immediately captured by the Zoners who take them to their new leader, Zod (Callum Blue), who is thirsting for revenge on Clark for banishing him to this Kryptonian jail. Unfortunately, the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) has returned to Metropolis, so Lois must go up against the notorious villain instead of Clark. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) searches for the Bow of Orion, which he believes will remove the Omega symbol from his skull, and runs into Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort), who is also on a mission to stop Darkseid.
