Good heavens, a 37.5 MB download on OS X 10.6 and then it says "This will take 140.2 MB of space on your computer." during the install.

I got it and I really like the Reader feature, it works like a dream!

not sure whether some sites will try and block the feature from loading the articles though :/

Dear God, how will we manage with today's storage space?!

You do realize it will replace the existing Safari files and frameworks on your computer, not install them alongside?

The Windows version looks a lot better than Safari 4 did

This looks pretty much the same on Windows as Safari 4 did :/ You got my hopes up as well :( Maybe you're referring to Safari 3?

Perhaps the performance of Nitro is something to write home about on the Mac, but probably not so on Windows. During the Peacekeeper test, I noticed Safari struggled a bit with the first canvas test. As for the scores:

The reader feature is sweet. It also suppots multitouch monitors like on the TouchSmart TM2. Chrome does not. Firefox does however.

Personally, I think Safari 4 Beta looked great. Why did they pull away from the Tabs on Top area? :(

Beyond the Topsites / History background, scrollbars and loading bar the interface hasn't changed. Loving the new Reader feature!

Grrr, I hate that loading bar. It still doesn't adhere to the Graphite Appearance by the looks of it. I much prefer the loading bar in Safari 4.

Reader also works fine on Neowin's front page. :p

Wonder how it works... does it detect if a page has a RSS feed and use it if so?

The reader feature is an interesting way to mitigate ad blocking. People can just use the reader feature instead of blocking the ads. We'll see them for a split second or so :p

Extension Tab:

I don't have that in Preferences? :/

Reader is fantastic. It even does multiple pages. Try it out:

That's [the multiple pages thing] brilliant!
