An ump just cost someone a perfect game a couple of weeks ago on an awful call. Hes not dead. I dunno, from what I was seeing it looked like the whistle got blown before the ball passed the line. Could it have been a bad / unlucky call? Certainly, but they do happen all the time. However, the ref's decision is final. Football (soccer) doesn't seem to use technology as much as other sports do, and I really hope in the future they go invest more in it since it will only make referee decisions more accurate and fair. USA newspapers aren't retarded. Didn't say that now did I? But a draw is still not a win, regardless of how favored one team is. It was an exaggeration and thats that. But I was just referring to Alladaskill's point about USA deserving to win, and SVN being lucky. From what it looked like, both teams were pretty even and both played well. USA's comeback was certainly impressive, probably even the best in the 2010WC so far, but that doesn't mean SVN's play was just pure luck.
