First off, it's signature, and of.

Secondly, there is a cheaper special edition. And it's the one AT posted before I did. :p

Sense of speed in this video is excellent, almost looks like Wipeout lol. Physics look great as well, you can't just power around corners.

Before anyone asks damage was turned off at GC booths. I bet it'll be the big theme of TGS, that and the online side of things.

Gran Turismo 5: Die Flags!

Deletions can be done instantly, but would be unfortunate, says Yamauchi.

Following Sony's unveiling of Gran Turismo 5's kart racing component at Gamescom last week, a group in Italy complained about the game's use of certain visual elements for its Siena course and threatened to take legal action to block sales of the game in November if the issues were not dealt with.

Based off recent Twitter comments from series producer Kazunori Yamauchi, the issue might have come to a peaceful, albeit disappointing, resolution.

A follower asked Yamauchi if the need to delete content would delay GT5's release. Replied Yamauchi, "We can delete it in an instant, but the flags of the city's various wards, which serve as one part of the beautiful background of ancient Sienna, are vivid and beautiful. It's unfortunate to have them removed."

The complaint from The Consortium for the Protection of the Palio appears to specifically concern the flags that line the course. "You can not use images of Contrade, in this case the flags, without authorization," read translations of the original complaint.

Yamauchi's Tweet does not clearly state if the flags will be removed or if the producer is just concerned about hypothetically having to remove them. But his assurance that the deletions can be done instantly is certainly a relief in case you were worried about possible delays.

Looks like an optional install (below is translated from Japanese twitter by GTP)

Approximately what's the GT5 install size? I've got a 40GB PS3.

If you have at least 256MB it will work, but if you have 10 GB available you will be able to play comfortably.

I was wondering, what's your favourite car? Also in the game, what car do you think is good?

Since it's a car I've been working on as a member of its development team, certainly the current GT-R is my favourite car. There are plenty of cars that I think are good.

I've preordered GT5~! The wait until November 3rd will be fun!!

Thanks.

On 27th I've played a demo version of GT5 at the Nissan headquarters gallery. There weren't 3D or face tracking features, but (driving with) the Motul GT-R at Madrid was exhilarating.

The light is beautiful at Madrid. It's a city I love.

GT5 categorizes under porn... car porn :p

Really hope we see the stunt arenas at TGS

What can we look forward to when Gran Turismo 5 releases on PlayStation 3?

Gran Turismo 5 will offer gamers an experience more rich, more in-depth and more exciting than they might expect - even from a series as closely identified with innovation and invention as Gran Turismo. Not only will Gran Turismo 5 deliver an even more comprehensive set of cars and courses than gamers saw with previous iterations, it will also feature new game-enhacing graphical effects such as damage, night racing and weather.

These innovations are twinned with the option to join millions of like-minded individuals globally within the Gran Turismo community and to find a driving experience to suit, whether that is taking on the Top Gear test track, chucking cars around stunt arenas, go-karting, creating and sharing your own track or intense head-to-head races. Who, where and what to drive is completely down to the individual.

This time around Gran Turismo is likely not just to be the definitive driving experience but a definitive gaming experience full stop.
