Got my Logitech Driving Force GT the other day. Looks and feels like a fantastic bit of kit, and £80 well spent imo. I used to be pretty good on GT with just a controller (he says modestly  ), but I think (hope?) the improvements PD have done to the physics engine will warrant the use of a wheel and pedals to really get the most out of the game.

What's your set-up? I think it's worth the money, but I'm worried I won't have the room to use it.

reconfirmed

No need to watch aging spies smoke cigarettes or take a sandwich break when it comes to installing Gran Turismo 5 -- Eurogamer has confirmed with Sony that the game will actually have a feature allowing users to install it in chunks while playing. "If users choose not to install the data straight away it will do it in stages as new areas, tracks, etc. are accessed during normal gameplay,"a Sony representative stated. The install weighs in at 6.3 gigglebytes, unsurprising considering there are like eleventy billion cars in the game and takes about 40 minutes when installing straight-up, Eurogamer reports.

Gran Turismo 5 launches in the US on November 24. No, we're serious -- no joking!

I've got a small table that my daughter used to use to eat off. I can clamp the wheel onto that, and there is a wooden bar along the bottom which the pedals butt up to. It's actually quite a comfortable driving position. The wheel and pedals fit into my unit next to the TV when I'm not using them. In use, it really takes up no more room than a regular coffee table.
