Lovell
Having a rant aimed at no one lol? Glad their wrestling cancelled each other out, but I wouldn't call Koscheck one of the best strikers when the only punch he knows is an overhand right, although I wouldn't mind seeing GSP have a striking match against Paul Daley, Nick Diaz, Anderson Silva etc, poor Koscheck got schooled; shame GSP isn't a giant ###### and didn't taunt Koscheck afterwards because you know Koscheck would have done the same thing. I watched this at a pub last night and there was a bunch of people that were complaining after the fight that it was boring, i just don't get it. As for koscheck and his striking, he's ONE of the best in that DIVISION. I would say he's better than Diaz and Daley... the only one I can think of in that division that is better would be Alves, and that's only because of last nights fight. But how can you not give gsp credit for standing up and beating the **** out of koscheck, boggles my mind. It should have shut all the critics up. mikebiacsi
Wow, Koscheck got his ass handed to him. Question is, who takes on GSP now? arrrgh
Wow, Koscheck got his ass handed to him. Question is, who takes on GSP now? That's pretty easy, it's going to be Jake Shields Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/934438-ufc-124-georges-st-pierre-vs-josh-koscheck-ii/page/3/#findComment-593484086 Share on other sites
trag3dy
I always wondered what a persons face would look like after beating punched continuously for 25 minutes. Now I know. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/934438-ufc-124-georges-st-pierre-vs-josh-koscheck-ii/page/3/#findComment-593485674 Share on other sites
Lovell
Wow, Koscheck got his ass handed to him. Question is, who takes on GSP now? It should be Anderson Silva but knowing the UFC that won't happen till the fight becomes irrelevant and one of them is past it and can be sacrificed which seen as how he's now 35 will be Anderson Silva. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/934438-ufc-124-georges-st-pierre-vs-josh-koscheck-ii/page/3/#findComment-593485708 Share on other sites
Kriz
Awesome PPV, it didnt beat Strikeforce last week though but still some exciting fights.. A few of the prelims im yet to watch, but Matthew Riddle/Pierson was a good fight, first round all the way to Pierson the last 2 rounds were fairly close though in my eyes, Riddle just doesnt know when to give up.. Bocek owned Hazelett, something i never though id see happen was Hazelett being beat at his own game, Bocek is a force at the moment.. Jim Miller/Oliveira was always going to be a good fight, i didnt expect it to be over so quick though. Right before that fight i said to my mate how we rarely see anyone get beat with a leg lock, lovely reversal, the angle on Oliveira's leg looked nasty.. He's only 21, he will be up there in a few years with the best he just has a natural talent, and seems as flexible as BJ.. Thiago Alves impressed me a lot, it looked like he could've gone another 5 rounds, only criticism is that he should have finished Howard but still a dominating performance. Stevenson/Danzig was the shock of the night for me, i was not expecting Stevenson to get knocked out, let alone by a punch while he was moving backwards.. It reminded me of Anderson Silva/Forrest Griffin.. Good to see a nice KO though. GSP/Koscheck was one sided pretty much after those first few jabs, his eye was ****ed and it was clearly affecting him. Again only criticism is that he didnt finish Kos, but im sure he had his own motives to hand out as much punishment to him as possible. Anderson Silva next for GSP? I dont think so, not yet anyway. Jake Shields maybe? There isnt a lot to choose from to be honest.. I don't see Shields standing a chance tbh. TheElite
GSP should have finished Kos off. He tried a rear naked in the 4th round? Come on. Kos couldn't see out of his right eye and GSP still didn't take advantage of it. GSP is technical, but he's lost his killer instinct.
