careless_monkey
My chrome just updated itself. Is it just me or does it really seem superfast? Something like 60x i think that was going around about a month ago?

ViperAFK
You have to admit. IE9 kicks Chrome's ass. Your gpu acceleration isn't working and/or is not enabled properly. I get close to the same score as ie9 and ff:
Singh400
Your gpu acceleration isn't working and/or is not enabled properly. I get close to the same score as ie9 and ff: No isn't working fine. Hardware configuration and the size of your browser window plays a huge part ;)
ViperAFK
No isn't working fine. Hardware configuration and the size of your browser window plays a huge part ;) Fullscreen window, exact same score... and its a MASSIVE difference from those scores. Those show clearly hardware accel isnt working right on your specific hardware or something.

AngelGraves13
Not working for me either. Might be NVIDIA users need newer drivers. I'm currently on 260 beta drivers and have no hardware acceleration in Chrome.

I'm currently on 260 beta drivers and have no hardware acceleration in Chrome. Are you launching Chrome with "--enable-gpu-plugin --enable-gpu-rendering --enable-accelerated-2d-canvas --enable-video-layering --enable-webgl --enable-fastback" ? *webgl should be automatic but it probably doesn't hurt to force it on anyway. Fred Derf Veteran Posted October 2, 2010 Veteran Share Posted October 2, 2010 Yeah, I got 1211 revs per minute with an onboard video card. Obviously it doesn't take the latest hardware to get good results.
Bryan000
I get almost 1500 in lastest chrome dev, and aroud 1800 in IE9 beta 1.
Haptic
Ok my Chrome (dev) is actually very strange. All the stuff that used to work on the IE test drive no longer work property. The Psychedelic Browsing used to work perfectly, but now it stays a blank page. When I try to refresh, the page crashes. The Video Kaleidoscope test runs (as in it shows the FPS tab), but the rest of the page stays black. The HTML5 Youtube videos used to work, but now they play only the sound and some don't run at all. Yes, I do have all the flags turned on. I got the latest driver for my Radeon 3650 HD card, but nothing's changed. Anyone else have the same problem? Works like a charm for me, several new Lab features to try out as well! :) Side Tabs Adds a "Use Side Tabs" entry to the tabstrip's context menu. Use this to toggle between tabs on top (default) and tabs on the side. Useful on widescreen monitors.Enable Tabbed Settings Uses an in-tab UI for the Settings (Options/Preferences) dialog instead of a stand-alone window.Disable Instant Makes the address bar load urls as you type.Disable Page Info Bubble Shows the Page Information as an info bubble instead of a dialog window.Enable Disable outdated plug-ins Automatically disables plug-ins with known security vulnerabilities and offers update links for them.Enable XSS Auditor Enables WebKit's XSS Auditor (cross-site scripting protection). This feature aims to protect you from certain attacks of malicious web sites. It improves your security, but it might not be compatible with all web sites.Enable Background WebApps Allows installed web apps to run in the background at system startup and continue running after all windows are closed.Enable
