WastedJoker
I hardly had a glitch through my initial run through on Normal but I'm trying it on Very Hard and the amount of times I have to restart a checkpoint or completely close and restart the game because the level doesn't move on is annoying :x
Razorwing
Yeah, same, finished a few days ago and enjoyed it. The story was absolutely horrible, but the gameplay more than made up for it. I plan on going through and beating it on the hardest mode as well as trying out the other modes. I agree. Story was horrible. I didn't even know if there was a story.
Guest xiphi
Finished the game a few days ago and now playing on Very Hard, which is exactly that! Story was pretty decent, nothing special. Reminded me of what an action movie from the 80-90's would be like as a video game. Exactly the kind of stuff I love!
:: Lyon ::
This game makes me really dizzy somehow... like when you are playing FPS games for too long -_- Maybe i"m just getting old
WastedJoker
Only on my second run through did I realise there's ammo caches at certain points which completely fill up your ammo and charge :fail:
Ayepecks
Only on my second run through did I realise there's ammo caches at certain points which completely fill up your ammo and charge :fail: Hah, it took me a few acts to realize what those did. They don't completely fill it up, though, they just give you a small amount of ammo or charges (for some reason it was always for my right-side equipped weapon, too). Xtreme2damax
Awesome game so far. Profanity is a bit over the top and doesn't blend into the game well, saying the f-bomb and other obscenities just for the sake of saying them. So far my favorite thing about the game is the gameplay and ways to kill enemies.

You know the level that the demo gave? With the lift you can drop onto the skulls? Well right after you walk through the clock hologram there is an amo cache - it fills everything up to max. spenser.d
Yeah..language is over the top.. too much d*** and "unnecessary" words If I'm not mistaken, that was one of the selling points of the game. Should've known that going in. Everything about the game is supposed to be OTT.

WastedJoker
People buying this game then complaining about the content. Jesus wept. Do you put your hand into flames and complain when you get burned too?
JonathanVP
Got done. Very fun and enjoyable game and I was laughing all the way through with them funny lines. I can't believe the Chinaman eats it. Oh, well... Anyone know how to get those black borders out of the screen?

Do you put your hand into flames and complain when you get burned too? No one minds the language, I sure don't. But there is too many obscenities being shouted that don't seem to correlate with the game, just for the sake of it. A little less over the top and I'd be happier, I don't mind the gameplay though which is an A+ in my book.
Ionium
If you want less profanity in a game, may I suggest sim city?
Pajter
I loved the profanity to be honest. Just good old over the top nonsense. It was like an 80's action movie, but better. :D
neoadorable
hey Jonathan, way to go with the spoiler there! And he ain't supposed to be Chinese..what's next, you're going to call him Chinaman Joe? You must be channeling General Serrano. and the language is fine, quite well written and witty for a game like this, some of the lines are quite funny. the whole running gag with ###### is pretty good. Massiveterra
I love how the game breaks the 4th wall a lot. Last time I played the campaign, Grayson said something about Ishi not being skilled enough to fight against the AI
Xtreme2damax
If you want less profanity in a game, may I suggest sim city? No. At least in Duke Nukem and in Prey the profanity correlates with what is happening in the game, such as performing certain actions. This is just spouting profanity randomly, sometimes for no reason, just to say it. I think this comic sums up the way I and others feel about the game: http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/9/2011/02/02nerf25.jpg

Xtreme2damax
Trolls.. What does your comment have to do with what I posted? I said I don't mind the profanity, just that it needs to correlate with what is happening in the game, the profanity just doesn't really fit in. I can't think of many games with such overuse of profanity, any profanities used usually correlate with what is happening. There's no reason to get all bitchy and single me out for pointing out a rather minor issue with the game, it's not like I am saying it's a bad game or that it sucks so no need to go on the defense.
