Avenger will, no doubt, be a hit, in every way, and it may even surpass The Dark Knight Rises in Box Office but The Dark Knight Rises will still be superior to it. Whilst it's possible that The Dark Knight Returns has influenced elements of the film, I wouldn't say it's based on it. Makes me wish I was going to see MI:4, but now I have to wait for a leak of the prologue instead :( Seriously can't wait for this movie, and it looks like it will be worth a trip to Nashville to see it (Nashville is the closest place that will be showing it at the IMAX).
