Marquardt, Schaub and Zingano come together to form Elevated Fight Team

What!? Of those 3, only Zingano isn't on a losing skid (yet). Alright, Schaud too, but he's seriously limited at HW.

Certainly hope this doesn't end up being a new Blackzilians's style debacle.

They should probably all join Team Alpha Male or something. Since Duane Ludwig became a coach there, their record has improved massively.

It's pretty much certain that he's fighting Frank Mir in a summer PPV.

Cat Zingano out of The Ultimate Fighter 18 with injury, Miesha Tate now coaches opposite Ronda Rousey

GODDAMN IT!     TUF 18 was gearing up to be a great season and Zingano was a respectable (albeit very green) challenger for Rousey's belt. And now we get a rematch against Tate which will certainly bring Dumbass Caraway with her.

Oh well, we'll always have...

Miesha also loses her way into a title shot. Christ, the women's division is starting to look like Strikeforce Bizarro Rules matchmaking.

In one of its biggest talent acquisitions to date, Bellator MMA has signed former UFC light-heavyweight champion and PRIDE veteran Quinton Jackson.

Sources close to the fighter confirmed the signing with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). A press conference is scheduled for Wednesday in Los Angeles, and "Rampage" will be in attendance. Contracts details are expected to be unveiled then.

According to MMAFighting.com, in addition to Bellator MMA, the deal includes includes the opportunity to appear on TNA Impact Wrestling programming on Spike TV.

Jackson (32-11 MMA, 0-0 BFC) immediately becomes a contender in Bellator's 205-pound division. Current champion Attila Vegh (29-4-2 MMA, 5-0 BFC), recent tournament winner Emanuel Newton (21-7-1 MMA, 4-1 BFC) and ex-Strikeforce champion Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal (9-2 MMA, 1-1 BFC) are among the division's most recognizable competitors. Additionally, a light-heavyweight tournament kicks off June 19 with notables such as Seth Petruzelli (14-7 MMA, 1-1 BFC) and Renato Sobral (37-10 MMA, 0-1 BFC)

I don't see why Rampage doesn't just fight at HW. Bellator's a joke at HW and he plow through the division AND not cut any weight. Still, I have a feeling he will regret his Bellator signing.

Rampage vs King Mo? :)

Maybe. But they would have to break out of the tournament format for that. There is no way Rampage can fight 3 times in 3 months while maintaining 205. Mo wins the 4 man tournament specifically made for him to win and then Rampage gets an immediate title shot due to Bellator being as deep as a puddle. And then... nothing. There are no more interesting fights available unless you're into 3 round gassing fests by two guys that can barely make weight.

Ha will suit him just fine he's never been a fan of training has he

Holly hell, what a triple post.

A young Rampage was in top shape and didn't need much effort to keep of the pounds or make the cut. He's gotten old but didn't adjust, much like his MMA skill set. He was already on TRT when he fought Bader but he still seemed to fade. Bellator is probably going to feed him a steady diet of cans, something the HW, aka Trashweight, division isn't in short supply. I can see him crushing such HW stalwarts like Wes Shivers, Abe Wagner or Travis Fulton.

Minotauro is either going to **** hot for steroids or later reveal he's on TRT. I think it's the first time I've seen him with six-pack abs. He didn't even look that good when he fought Frank Mir.

What is it with English speaking referees giving warnings to brazilian fighters that don't speak any english at all? It's jarringly stupid.

Anthony Pettis out of UFC 163 with injury, Chan Sung Jung to face Jose Aldo

Finally a "good" injury. Title shot should've probably gone to Ricardo Lamas seeing how's been the more active FW fighter but it's still a better fight than the instant title shot they were giving Pettis. Still, don't see KZ taking this one but it should be a great fight (unless Aldo injures himself as usual).
