Oh man, this season is either going to suck terribly or be a "great" season. Great as in TUF 10 great, entertaining and bloody. There hasn't been a truly great season of TUF since TUF 8 & 9.

Female fighters Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate announced for EA Sports UFC

 

I certainly hope they put more girls on the roster instead of just Miesha and Ronda. Zingano, Kedzie, Davis, McMann, Carmouche and Kaufman would be fine choices. Knowing EA; they'll probably be paid DLC :/

Well the co main event and main event did not disappoint..

It was a fun event. Most of the brazilian squash matches ended up being spoiled. That was pretty great. Glover finished nicely but he took A LOT of hits during that fight. His chin held up but getting tagged so many times by a guy with such rudimentary striking like Bader is bad news for his title aspirations.

Yep, pretty good Fight Night overall. Seems I was one of the lucky ones whose recording wasn't affected either; BT Sport tweeted there was an EPG error causing some people's Sky boxes to screw up the recording (they're repeating it tonight at 00:45 on BT Sport 2 in case anyone here was affected). :P Onwards to 165!

Alistair Overeem vs. Frank Mir added to UFC 167

 

Overeem clinches Mir against the fence, unloads knees, goodnight Irene.

Or just stands there flat footed before he lifts his arms and gets knocked out - unlikely coming from Mir though

 

Looking forward to seeing who's next in like for Barnett

I really hope he learnt his lesson after the Browne fight. Wouldn't wanna see him cut. There aren't many British fighters in the UFC as it is. :P

Browne. I'm pretty confident in that.

 

I really hope he learnt his lesson after the Browne fight. Wouldn't wanna see him cut. There aren't many British fighters in the UFC as it is. :p

 

He's more Dutch than anything. If he loses to Mir, he's getting cut for sure. He rakes in WAY too much to be kept around on that contract. If Mir loses, Dana will have a nice talk with him and strongly suggest he retires. Maybe they'll finally allow him to commentate again (he's pretty good at it).

Same here, looks like we'll have to wait for Ben "Clay Guida" Rothwell/Browne

 

Rothwell wasn't looking that hot against Brandon Vera until he did his best Timmy (Boetsch) impression. He isn't even ranked in the UFC rankings so I don't see him taking on Browne unless Browne gets completely blown out of the water by Barnett. I was thinking more of giving him a fight against a guy like Todd Duffee and if he wins (he probably would), have him fight Miocic. Alternatively, the winner of Schaub vs Mitrione could work. Comedy option: Soa Palelei. At altitude in Denver.
