I came across with this Windows XP-like background in the WMWare Fusion site

I really liked it a lot, so that's why I'd want to know if anyone out there knows this wallpaper or whether VMWare made it.

I placed the official, default Windows XP wallpaper so you could compared the two.

This is the original picture where I got the picture from:

Here you go. You're welcome. Unfortunately it's not free.

omg! wow I didn't expect to know that wallpaper that fast!

thanks a bunch pal !!!!! :woot: :woot:

yeah .. too bad it isn't free ... the 5k pixel one is 500 bucks!

Did anyone ever find this other than the incredibly expensive version at getty? I've seen a couple of screenshots of it being used on vmware fusion on mac osx tiger so i'm guessing it must have been in circulation at some point. Anyone have any leads?

It's probably just some image that they purchased to substitute for the default Windows XP wallpaper in their product shots / screenshots. I doubt that they would post it anywhere since they probably paid fairly decent money to use it in their marketing stuff.

It's not the picture, but it looks nice.

Yes, that's what was found out before (It's from Getty and they charge a lot)

Not that I endorse privacy or anything but with prices like that, I hope someone buys it and leaks it all over! :woot:

Are you sure you don't endorse that, seems kind of important in this day and age?

There is no financial benefit to someone buying it and then giving it away for free, so piracy is unlikely to happen here
